  • Can you run unleaded in these cars??

  • Stepping on the gas in one of these cars is an orgasmic experience.

  • I had a 1994 sts 4.6L in 2007 that blew a head gasket. Now I got a 1992 sts 4.9L in 2010 and couldnt be happyer. As for gas on my 4.9L well the fuel gauge works when it wants so fuel mileage is great haaha. I'll post a video of it by the end of the month.

  • I like the cadillac and many versions of it I don't kno tho I keep getting mixed info about it's reliability.. Some say it uses up alot of gas and some say it's not for driving around for distances Well WTF does it do!? HoP!? lol well perhaps some one can clear this up for me?

  • @darktreason The Northstars do have some reliability issues but they are a car that require premium fuel and aggressive driving here and there since they are a high revving race bred engine that were designed to be driven but not bagged on like a 16 year old and his first car.

I've had the HT4100, the 4.9, and am on my third Northstar powered caddy and I appreciate them. They are all generally good on fuel when you figure out how to be easy on the accelerator and are awesome highway cars.

  • @relaxitsonlyagame

Are the '05 and up Northstar engines any better reliability wise versus the older one's?

  • @IrishChris1979 From what I've heard they are good but I haven't owned one yet. The first N*was released in 1993, so 12 years of perfecting the basic design... The RWD LH2 Northstar's have little extras like VVT, higher power output, and can run on regular gas if you want. I'm not sure of the Northstar will be in a 2012 model but I think they've decided to end its production run (but don't quote me).

  • @darktreason Long distance driving is good for any car and especially a caddy because you clean the engine out of all the carbon that builds up from stop and go city driving and idling. People that have problems with these cars are usually the ones with McDonalds french fries from last year stuck in the seats and who neglect the car by not maintaining it, driving it too hard, or not driving it hard enough and not running the correct grades of fuel, oils, etc.

  • yeah right yalls dicks r loose if it aint hard on gas i got the same exact caddy my shit goes thru gas my shit got a 4.9 in it tho

  • I had a 94 STS, Pearl White with the Black interior, amazing colour combo, i still think its the best, you cant beat the pearl white at night time, just shining. best car i ever drove, until i blew the transmission

  • ya man pearl white 94'sts is what i got and its got the white interior and ya i agree man they nice, upgrade from my sunfire thats for damn sure lol

  • I really love my 93 STS, most reliable and fun car I´ve ever had :)

  • the cadillac sts was/is great. It is fast with good handling and adequate brakes. People need to give them more credit than they do.

  • thats no were near a real cadillac, a real cadillac is more then 18 feet long, and ways more then 4000 pounds. :)

    I have a 1988 cadillac brougham d'elegance, now thats a real cadillac.

  • are you a jiggaboo?

  • @DylanMayhew, that's a nice Caddy but it sure could have used the power of a Northstar too...

  • i have a pearl white 94 sts. all i have is some 20" chrome rims but day or night if u keep it clean its one of the sexiest cars on the road still in 2009. some chrome trim to replace the gold would modernize it really well though. and why not a chrome grill?

  • ya man thats exactly what i say and i got the pearl white sts as well, lookin for 20's just got my windows tinted real black thinkin new grill and headlights

  • @SeeGabeGo I have a pearl white 1993 Seville 4.9L base, still one of the slickest Cadillacs on the road. Rides on rails, great gas mileage on the open road and looks damn good for a 17 year old Cadillac; I get compliments on her all the time. In my opinion 20s are big enough wheels for that car too, gives the car the look of cool and classy without being too gawdy. 18's work good too. This body style Seville and the 1982-1992 Broughams are my favs.

  • i got a 94 Concours. It has the same engine and a much boatier ride!

  • They shouldn't even make the STS anymore. The New CTS is cheaper and has comparable features.

But I love my 2001 Sts. so much fun to drive.

  • Nice car, but I love the bodystyle and interior of my '99 STS even more. I don't care much for the look of the brand new STS's. They're nice looking, but they don't look like Cadillacs. My '90 Sedan DeVille has that classic Cadillac personality that's missing in all the newest Caddies.

  • no a true cadillac is about 3 tons and with big block power to the rear wheels. but i love that generation of sevilles and STS's

  • That sounds heavenly.

  • Indeed these are fun cars. Lovely to drive.

  • i want one... blk on blk or blk on tan

  • Black on black or black on tan is sweet looking, but so hard to keep clean and they get so hot sitting in the sun. The pearl paint on mine still gleams even when it's not cleaned up and it still looks pretty clean with a layer of dust on it.

  • if you like how that sounds try listening to it withought the muflers. its a beast and its awesome

  • When the STS is stock, the powerful engine in it is really quiet until you hit the gas then it comes alive with a race car type growl, it sounds badass! I keep mine stock, I like the option of rolling up whisper quiet or letting the engine roar if I choose to hit the gas.

  • comfy ride?

  • ahhhhhhhh normal life. nice people having a nice day together.

    thank u.
