I understand what you want. My mom and dad say they would love to give me al the horses and ponies i want, but with the econmy[how ever you spell it] now of days they say it would be to hard. So i'm leasing a perect horse.
i really want my own horse too, my mum just hasnt got the money but im not going to give up !! i might be able to get one for at ny nan and grandads !! the movie was great !! :) :) :)
my parents say that i need to save up for haft of the horse, ten they will pay the rest plus all the things the horse will need like food, stable, vet and other things :D
ive been riding since i was 4, and im 12 now.i take lessons. i wish every day for a horse of my own, but my parents say lessons are too expensive. if lessons are expensive, im not even going to sak for a horse. my parents know how much i want one of my own, but they wont consider getting me one. ill have to wqait until i get a job, earn, money, and am able to pay for him myself
trust me u will get there, i have been riding since i was 3, im 11 now and i finally got to lease a"perfect" horse. he cant jump and hard to get the right lead lots of leg and back problems and hard to ride at times, but he has a gr8 attitude and gr8 with kids and he tot me how to ride and i love him no matter wat, buy a horse or lease a horse, sum horses r $100 and r perfectly good, try it.
plz dont say that! i could only wish too but on dec. 26,2009 i got to lease the horse of my dreams. he cant jump, has leg and back probs, attitude issues at times, and is a major ass at times but i love him...no matter wat, horses r $100(sum) go find one, they r good 2...plz try
.Never give up your dream, and you should Check out the website for the book "Horses and People Matching" there are a lot of ideas there about how to ride / spend time/ with a horse that's just about your own...sometimes without even exchanging money! true
im riding since i was 6 now im 14 and won many showjumpings but my parents dont want to buy me a horse!!! every girl who have a horse can be sooo lucky!
I MIGHT get a horse! And I never even asked for it. NOT that I haven't wanted one for awhile, it's just I never even asked because it was obvious I wouldn't get it. I ride so it won't be a waste.
My dad, while in the car yesterday, told me someone is selling a horse for free and that I can maybe get it if my horse trainer is willing to board it and the man approves of her and her farm.
And so my dad is being lazy and won't call my trainer to ask. Arg. >.>
did he call?if he didn`t you need to!xD,but you need to make sure it doesn`t have medical problems,or bad bad habits like rearing or trying to trample you in the pasture xD
my friend showed this to her parents... hopefully it will sork so she will stop bugging me about how much she wants a horse... lol she has been riding for like 4 or 5 years!!!
well I can tell you one thing, NEVER give up no matter how long your stride is! I was certain that i would never get that big, beautiful white arab for sale in the stable and I did! And I also got a bay mustang! but just watch, you will get a horse too and become a legend! ;)
@TearDropForLove my mom said the same things (except we didnt have any to spend) and i found a place where i can buy and board for free with few costs such as new bridles blanketss ect. now i have my dream pony! just keep trying and shhowing how dedicated you are!
patience pays off, it took me 6 years to persuade my horsey mum and that was only because my Dad got promoted to a job in close connection with the government. Even then we could only afford a problem pony - she once bucked be off 17 times in one day but then we ending up winning our dressage tests and jumping 2'6''. So have a little patience and it will pay off :)
My horse got very sick and ended up coasting over $20000 in vet blls in 2 years plus board and showing it was crazy. be careful what you get yourself into.
That's just bad luck. There are plenty of people who buy horses who it works out for and they are perfectly happy. However, leasing is a good way to understand what it takes to care for a horse both economically and time wise without as much commitment.
Theese are great ideas, but only if you can afford it. IM positive we can afford it, but my parents always say no. But, when i do ask, its getting less and less direct. now its, well, its really bestif you have the property...or what happens during college? But when we were down in SC my dad saw some really pretty horses properties that he said hed look at buying of we moved in that area, only i dont think were gonna move down there D:
my parents are getting me a horse next summer maybe (the big word) but its just between me and my mom but i sent her this like 3 times and i think that worked plus moping around not to be a brat just because if i want to enter a show with my level i need my own horse great vid
for my parents, its all about where we live, city area, and they wont move to cheaper area for horse property because of their jobs, so i guess i'm SOL until i move out or make enough money to board a horse. :(
I just sent it 2 my mommy sjes been considering it for a really long time now and she has the money nows the cheep horse that i want that still needs a little training...why not!!!
I'd get a horse but I don't have the property, money to feed it, or knowledge of how to shoe one or even how to take care of their hooves. To me, they're just too much money and trouble.
Right now my parents don't have the money, but my mom thinks she might be able to have the money by next Christmas. Yay! Lol it might seem like a long time, but I think it'll be worth the wait.
Wodnt u hate 2 get a horse that was picked FOR u? theres no gartee that you'll 'click' 4 me its the bond that makes horses&riding specail. View horses critically, I found my perfect horse after 8mounths of searching&viewing 15 horses! Said that DIDN't want a loan, a bay, a full-tb / an ex-racer.. My PERFECT partner in crime is all of these &i wouldnt swap him for anything in the whole world! It was only by chance & through word of mouth we found him, IMO hes the best horse i've ever come across!
I've been riding sinc I was 6, but for a while my mom wouldn't let me get lessons, so I resumed them last March. Now I'm trying to persuade my parents to let me sponsor so I can have lessons 3 times a week instead of once.
I am exactly the same my parents would love to buy me a horse but we just don't have the money so however much I ask the answer can't change even though they would like it to. I too have decided to save up and buy my own horse gd luck.
I have been trying to figure out a way to help get my parents to buy me a horse (my dad doesn't like them, he fell off one when he was ten and broke his arm) and your video just helped my too! Thanks!
be careful buying a horse make sure its safe and has no vices...make sure its not a weaver or crib biter n get it veted people drug horses when selling them and you will be being tricked or fooled 85% of the time iv had horses all my life and if you have any questions please ask xoxo
well...actually...were looking to buy this one horse...we are actually about to start leasing her for a month to see if it works out...and I hope it does 'cause then you know what that means!! and horse OF MY OWN!! XDDDDD
wow! now you need a horse ! I have only be riding for 4 years but there is this pony that my friend who is in high school and she outgrew him and I want to lease him sooooo bad

That's cute.
I've been riding for over six years now.
Both my parents would love to get me a horse..
They say it and I can tell they mean it.
Only problem is my mom would rather spend money on remodeling the house and stuff like that.
I just wish someday it will work out.

im 16, been riding since i was about 7.
i get the ideas behind these vids and if your parents actually are in the financial situation where they can afford to - then it's a good idea.
but if they're not, like mine, and its not that they don't want to, they're just incapable, i've resolved to do it myself before i'm 18. (Y)
so just get a job tbh is my advice :D
