Actually Alabama did control that whole football game in more ways than one, we just laid back after the half and let them get back in it, and we should have never done that. We should have just kept doing what we was doing from the start and blown them out. Damn I already can't wait till next year and we still have a Bowl to play. lol I had some great times this season and I was really proud and felt good to see Alabama playing this type of football that we all witnessed in our schedule.

Only had 2 Seniors on defense...Rashad Johnson and Bobby Greenwood. Personally I think McElroy will be the QB next year, he's a Junior and seems to have a good grasp of the offense...in high school he broke a lot of Texas High School Records that were set by Chase Daniel(QB at Missouri).

Bama didn't barely get by this season, but looking back it turns out they did play a pathetically weak schedule. Not their fault but the SEC was WAY down this year. Every team UA played had at least 4 losses except Georgia- the Bulldogs had 3. UA played near perfect football in the SECC. That, and the fact that Florida's top playmaker Harvin didn't play kept the game close. With Harvin, Florida scores at least two more TDs.

Well a lot of times the better team don't win, not saying that was the case here, but in that 4th quarter there was several crucial mistakes that will prevent you from winning a ball game. For instance stepping out of bounds on a return that could have been returned for a long way by Javier Arenas, not taking anything from him, he's a great player but that was a big mistake. This was not at all John Parker Wilson's fault it was more less Jim McElwain's fault in my opinion. He made some bad calls

Actually Alabama did control that whole football game in more ways than one, we just laid back after the half and let them get back in it, and we should have never done that. We should have just kept doing what we was doing from the start and blown them out. Damn I already can't wait till next year and we still have a Bowl to play. lol I had some great times this season and I was really proud and felt good to see Alabama playing this type of football that we all witnessed in our schedule.

Only had 2 Seniors on defense...Rashad Johnson and Bobby Greenwood. Personally I think McElroy will be the QB next year, he's a Junior and seems to have a good grasp of the offense...in high school he broke a lot of Texas High School Records that were set by Chase Daniel(QB at Missouri).

Bama didn't barely get by this season, but looking back it turns out they did play a pathetically weak schedule. Not their fault but the SEC was WAY down this year. Every team UA played had at least 4 losses except Georgia- the Bulldogs had 3. UA played near perfect football in the SECC. That, and the fact that Florida's top playmaker Harvin didn't play kept the game close. With Harvin, Florida scores at least two more TDs.

Here's what I didn't understand - you guys had a drive that started on like the 10 yard line and just ran the ball right down our throats all the way to like the 12 yards line. We were in row 5, right there at the goal line and I was sweatin' it.

Well a lot of times the better team don't win, not saying that was the case here, but in that 4th quarter there was several crucial mistakes that will prevent you from winning a ball game. For instance stepping out of bounds on a return that could have been returned for a long way by Javier Arenas, not taking anything from him, he's a great player but that was a big mistake. This was not at all John Parker Wilson's fault it was more less Jim McElwain's fault in my opinion. He made some bad calls

Don't beat yourself up. Bama played a good game but they just aren't that good. You guys will struggle the next few years with a new QB, but you'll be back and have a 9 to 10 win season in a few years. Good luck.

Bama Tony 73, I'm proud of you. You stand by your team..win, lose, or draw. There are folks I used to know that didn't break out the Bama winD breaker till the end of the season and NC game was expected. I have pulled for FL since I was 5 and my daddy taught me too. My heart has been broken so many times...but not last night. Florida and Tebow played like true champs. I think they will destroy Oklahoma and yall will kill Utah in the sugar. GO GATORS AND ROLLTIDE!

That's right! And at least we lost to Florida instead of Ole Miss. Losing like that early in the season like Florida did is always better because you can fight your way back in the top of the BCS rankings. Alabama has much talent and we'll definitely be in the mix of things for years to come. I'm really proud of Alabama's season and having the chance to play Utah in the Sugar Bowl is gonna be great. I wouldn't say that Alabama got their ass whooped. It was very close up until the end. In fact, I think thats the only game that Florida was behind in except for Ole Miss. Though I could be wrong??

They're going to be something to watch for. All kidding aside, Bama is going to be good next year, but I'm just saying the SEC will be tough. I don't think there is any doubt that Flordia doesn't rebuild- they reload!
I'm just saying I think a team like Tenn could easily be just as tough as Bama.Flordia just seems to have an edge over both of you guys. Next year should be a fun season to watch!

but not with the fuck you part, represent Alabama with class, but people are only looking at this lose in one way, it is the same situation as the OKLA, TEX, TEX TECH. We Beat ole miss, ole miss beat Florida, and Florida... We lost late in the year so Florida goes to the BCS over us (Alabama).

All in all, one of the best college football games I have ever watched, and yes, it was good because I'm from the mid 80's Gators...the infamous start to a great program!

alabama has been on probation for about 6 years we got off in the end of 05
but now we got saban a good recruiteing class
all of our scholarships back we can get a team

Bowden and Paterno have more wins, than the Bear. I love the Bear but he could not coach todays players. Hard to debate his greatness, and his record, he is in the top 2 or coaches ever.

How can u say a team like TENN can't be good next year. They are going to be basically just like Alabama was this year. New coach's, hell of a recruiting class, and a lot of young talent. Cutting them short is cutting your team down! Their not my favorite team obviously, but their a good example of how things are going to be different for bama next year.

I hate to disagree with you,and I don't know who you pull for,but Tenn. will NOT win more than 7 games next year,8 wins would be overachieving. They've got a ton of problems at UT that go far deeper than coaching. So what about their recruits,UT always has top 15 recruiting classes,and that proves they've got deep issues that run past the talent and coaching and that's something that is going to take a few years to correct.

Ain't # 1 now are ya. Taht's all that really matters. The SEC had a bad season this year. That is the only reason BAMA appeared to be so good. There are supposed to be some good competition in the SEC next year. I heard some teams like the Vols ain't going to be playing around next year. Nevertheless, I don't see anybody beating the GATORS. Next year Cinderalla's "coach"( get it) is going to turn back into that pumpkin. Beginners luck is going to run out.

Are you serious ? The Gators are really good and both teams played a great game,but UT,AU,and LSU won't be a whole lot better next year. Bama may not go 12-0 next year but I promise you UF will see a huge decline when Tebow leaves early to the NFL,along with Harvin. Tebow has willed you guys this year,and that's going to be much harder to replace than anything Bama has to replace. I'll be pulling for the Gators in the BCS though,because I'll always pull for the SEC ! Roll Tide Roll !

No,I think Tebow would've stayed if UF would've lost last night,but now with a Heisman,a SEC title with him as starter,and a trip to the BCS he has nothing left to prove. He will 110% be gone,along with Harvin,if they beat OU,which they will !! UF will still be good,but they won't be the UF of this year without Tebow. Tebow is a special player that has the ability to carry a whole team and that's very,very hard to replace. Go SEC ! Roll Tide !!
