Wow this storyline was so intense. Sometimes people forget that Days really tackled some hard core social issues way back when. I miss these storylines, rich with so much dialogue and the underlying connection between each actor was so powerful. Please post more. Thanks.
Steve & Adrienne could have told Abe it was self-defence which it was; Steve & Adrienne probably would not get arrested, plus Duke broke in & tresspassed in Adrienne's Apt which is illegal.
I think the point was that Steve did not want Adrienne involved at all - he did not want her to have to remember the details of the rape and have the guilt that SHE was the one who shot her father. By admitting his guilt, he hoped to skip a trial so there would not be much investigation and put Adrienne through that trauma.
Sintives, Good point. Steve did want Adrienne to forget about the horriable rape & the shooting. Steve was the one who gave Adrienne the gun after admitting Jo in a shelter. Steve was willing to go to jail to protect Adrienne. Not only that the Salem News Media would have gotten wind of it. He was a very good brother to Adrienne.
I like watching these old episodes-brings back memeories I forgotten & they were great storylines. Stephan & Judi did a good job playing this sence-great actors.
