It is a 6/4 F tuba, and @moosienails it is entitled Concerto for Bass tuba, not contrabass tuba. So it was written for F or Eb tuba.

This piece was written for Bb tuba and it is certainly possible to play with a Bb tuba, it just takes a Hell of a lot of practicing, I just got this solo for auditions and contests for my up-coming senior year in highschool.

@tubataylor1 Not her it's the horn. B&S F tubas have an unreal high register but their low register namely the C below the staff is god awful. But yes a breathtaking performance indeed.

I'm pretty sure it's not B&S, looks alot more like a Melton to me. Being a B&S owner, I'm 100% sure it's not a B&S tuba, looks like a really big F tuba, maybe 45-SLZ. But I may be wrong.

I love your tone on this piece: very light, nice and round. I love the phrasing you lay down from the beginning to 0:48 of the video - your trill is so clean- there must have been some nice mics to pick the crispness of that trill.
