  • i miss nashville

  • I know this guitar to be Clarence's at one time because I know the guy who sold it to Marty Stuart. I think that Fender amp was Clarence's also.

  • Marty is also doing it on Clarence's B-bender guitar which he now owns!

  • Marty, you ROCK! Is that indeed one of Clarence White's original Telecasters with the B-Bender? I know it's got the B-Bender installed but was that in fact one of his?

    "Wild" Bill Cody

  • @wildbilco55 Yes that is Clarence White's Tele with the B-bender. Marty does play it well at times and I think Clarence would appreciate knowing it's in talented hands, however, Clarence's playing of this song was still done better. I was fortunate to have met Clarence once following a show and speak with him at length about many things including his Tele which he called Frankenstein. One of Marty's early starts was playing with Roland White, CW's brother, in 72, Clarence died July '73.

  • Hot damn! This is Fabouloso!

  • Great Tune, They do it almost as good as us!

  • Clarence would like this.

  • Marty and the Superlatives cannot be beat.

  • Trippy - McGuinn playing next to Clarence White's original B Bender Tele.

  • Way cool.

  • Thanks, for posting this video.I 've been an Opry radio listener since I was a kid, and Marty's my favorite.I couldn't tune in for this ,last Sat.nite, so this was better yet, getting to see it ! Marty, has done a great Justice, for Country Music, and that B-Bender Guitar.
