@MrDKrider1 Thanks for the kind comments, much appreciated. The motor I used is the E-Flite Power 32 which is a 770kv motor. It has more than enough power to handle floats too. There is another video on my channel that covers off the components I used. It's called "E-Flite DHC-2 Beaver - Build List" Thanks again!
Wow! How is your maiden flight sooo smooth? I took mine out for its maiden today and the first takeoff was ALL over the place, ended up maxing out my trim too. Your flight looks so smooth and solid, I feel like mine is just way touchy and all over :s
@pyrokylehatch You are right. I used a 3000mah 4 cell and the stock wheels. Mine is all over the place too. I have the Du Bro 4 inch Big Wheels and maybe they will add some nose weight. I have floats and skis but have not had them on yet either. Too windy here in Newfoundland Canada now.
@ljevans4 You know it's going to happen. Just let me enjoy the Du-Bros for a little while okay! And besides, we first have to see what kind of trouble we can get into with forced stalls, slow turns, and the excessive use of flaps. At least I won't need a boat to go pick up the pieces! This is going to be fun!
Many thanks have to go out to Leigh E., my buddy and test pilot. He does a great job and I always feel comfortable putting the fate of my planes in his capable hands.
@pappywith4 If you check on my YouTube channel, you'll see a video I did that covers all of the parts used. But, as long as we're here; It's an E-Flite Power 32 motor, a Castle Creations 100 amp esc (the 75 amp version would have been ample but I already had the 100) with a 3300 mAh 4S battery. Feel free to subscribe to get updates on future flights. Cheers
@pappywith4 Thanks very much. Stay tuned, we're going to start having some fun with it now that the maiden is out of the way. It's time to see what she can do.
@RxRobbo Thanks for taking the time to comment. Much appreciated. And yes, it seems to fly like a dream. Can't wait for better weather to put her though her paces.
I love this video. The dh beaver, hall and oats. great video. Nice landings and also what kv motor did you put in yours.

@pyrokylehatch Yes, it flew very smooth actually, a lot smoother than the camera work on this video, that's for sure. Congratulations on your maiden!

Very nice, like the big wheels too...

@Farmhand2k Thanks very much. I like the look of the big wheels and tires too. They sure make it easier to land on a grass field.

@ljevans4 Way to go Hawkeye! You win the "Spot the Rabid Bunny" prize! I just about drove over a half a dozen of the little buggers on the way out.
