picture my 96 geo, It's the exact same, except chrome wheels, white bumpers on front and back, with black plastic trim stripe on front and back and on the side where this one have a sort of stripe, i have a piece of black plastic on it. It's insanely fly
Just got to take your time cleaning, polishing, and waxing... I use toothpaste on scuff marks, polish to get the oxidation off the paint and bring back the shine then wax to protect the paint and also give it a boost in shine.
Oh and i would suggest clay bar after you wash the car and before you start polishing.
Yeah, I would but mine is pretty scratched up and the paint has faded a lot and there are a few rusty spots. I got mine for $100. It was a steal concidering it runs and drives perfect. What kind of oil do you run in yours?
Everyone should take good care of their cars. When you think about it the cheapest new car in America is a base model Hyundai Accent. Its $8999 and thats still a lot of money when you think about it. It makes me cringe when I see something like an Expedition looking like total shit.
Yeah it isn't that hard to take care of a car and keep it looking good. Most peoples excuses are: "Don't have the time", "Costs too much". Bringing the paints shine back is the hard part.. from there on is smooth sailing for the next car wash.
the other day i saw an '08 CTS looking like total shit.. like it hasn't been washed in months. Keeping a car clean delays rust.
I recently discovered drive in car washes for $6. I wont drive through the ones with those huge brushes but Ill use the ones that use water pressure. It does a decent job if your car isnt caked with mud I go every 2 weeks so my cars are never too dirty anyway. I just do the waxing and tire shine at home so yeah people really dont have excuses to not take care of their cars. Cars are expensive I dont know why people dont take care of them.
yeah I there is a Auto wash like that about 3 blocks from home. thats where i wash my car they have 4 self service and 1 auto wash with water pressure. I use the auto wash in the winter.

ah.. thats good deal for $100. My Metro is starting to get some rust underneath.
I use Castrol GTX 5w30

Mine was Ziebarted underneath, so there isn't any rust underneath. But I have a little rust where there is a dent and rock chips.
I am putting in Castrol GTX 5w30 on my next oil change for the winter.

Yeah I'm planning on keeping this car as long as possible. Might even still have it when I'm 50 as a classic.. lol if it doesn't get totaled.
