  • Hi. I've got the a Panasonic HDC-SD10 and was just wondering what settings you use in Premiere Pro CS4 when you create a project? I created a video last night but I had a lot of scanlines on moving element in the video. Many thanks.

  • kann man dieses format am computer bequem auf youtube hochladen und dann gucken oder muss man es erst konvertieren

  • @karle1999 no conversion needed..just upload straight to youtube.

  • welches format hat ein solches hd video

  • @karle1999 AVCHD

  • Very nice video in HD, I like it.

  • fantastic video quality.....just one thing, I think you are feeding that squirrel too much .. It's huge !

  • @GaryGSF it takes steroids. lol

  • isn't that The Netherlands?

  • @GreenRebellion33 no, scotland

  • @robblac

ok thanks for the answer, i though it was the netherlands becouse of its collored trashbins (blue and green).

weard squirrels out there mate, in holland they are brown.

  • @GreenRebellion33 yeah, they are fairly tame..they fight for the food with the magpies.

  • @robblac

    haha :P

  • Hi robblac, I was just wondering what software you used to edit this video? Thanks

  • @ppk090 i used adobe master suite cs4, to be exact adobe premier pro cs4 wich is part of the suite, now i use cs5, same but a bit better

  • great!

  • Thanks for showing the Zoom of the sd10.

BTW: It seems you have some really fat Squirrels in the UK. :-)

  • @jagottsicher yes, we feed them lol

  • @jagottsicher

I noticed the rubbish bins have the words GLASGOW CITY which you may no as in SCOTLAND. Believe me the weather where I live which is about 2hr drive south-east in a place called Newcastle upon Tyne is very cold in the winter, I can tell you they have colder times than us, so our squirrels here are the equivalent of being all tooled up to live in the North Pole. :)

  • @robblac kk thankyou very much very helpfull

  • does this have a fixed motion setting? where you can blur the backround but focus on a persefic object

  • @nyalasteve99 download windows media player classic..its free..

  • @nyalasteve99 straight, mpeg is not the best thing tos aveit as, nor is the supplied software, but it should save it as MTS.file ?

  • @robblac yeh, it copys it like an mts file, but i cant do shit with that, nothing opens it.....i tried lot of players (smplayer, kmplayer, vlc..)

The software has only 1 option to convert it as mpeg!!!

I found a way but its very annoying and long, i import the mts files to after effects, i put them together and export them in avi!!! But it takes a lot of time to export.

  • this is so great!!! But i have one question! I will PM You!!!!

  • How do you upload in 1080p , i can only seem to upload in 720p

  • I have a Panasinic HDC SD10, can not have pictures so high

resolution, what happens? something in the camera? or my codec

video not work?? if you can help me thank you.

  • can you please take a video of you walking with this camera? i'd like to see how well the ios is in that situation. thanks!

  • Hello! What are the setings you used to shoot. I just bought this camera and when i move to another object it is a little jerky, i mean that the image is shaking. Do you recomand something for low light? Escuse my english. Thanks

  • use the ois ( optical image stablisation) button, stops it shaking..

  • I have this camera but I am not satisfied with its reddish color and paleness. Even with I set it to manual setting and turned its color to the maximum level, still the color quality is very poor. On LCD viewfinder the color is good but in the computer the color is pale and reddish.

  • im afraid i dont know what you mean, the colour and contrast is very good on this camera, mabey youhave a bad one, how does my video look to you ?

  • if it is only bad on your pc, i susspect its your monitor or video settings, try plugging the caminto your tv.

  • @robblac What I mean is, the color is not vivid (a little bit pink-ish) unless you have to edit it and adjust its color and contrast during editing. Your video looks good to me. It has a soft and fine quality picture. But when you compare it to other camera, you could notice the difference in terms of color quality.

  • sorry MYXX09 i cant agree, in fact, you are the only person i have ever heard negativly comment on the colour and saturation of this camera, but you are intitled to your opinion dude.. :)

  • and no,i have not touched the colourduring editing either .

  • are you uploading direcly as an m2ts file? when i try the 1080p version is all glitchy!

  • if you transcode as mpeg 2 blu ray, 1920x1080 TS multiplex, Quality 5, lower feild rate, dolby digital audio, VBR pas 2 setting in Adobe Premiere CS4 it saves it what is essentially avchd, and your panning will be smoother and general quality will be better and it also saves it as a single file due to the TS multiplexing

  • these settings are for adobe premier cs4

  • really good, this helepd me decide to actually buy this

  • thanks

  • hey, i got the SD 10 nd the qualitys great with good lighting...but im wondering whether the audio is good...the camera cant use an external mic..plz help

  • good quality mic

  • has to be said, this camera is craaap in low light situations..

  • I agree.... I can't seem to make mine look nice enough under low light. Are you using a Mac or a Windows? On my basic Macbook, it actually "warns" me not to download the FULL version of the video into my laptop otherwise it will not play properly.... but I suspect it's mainly just the low light condition.

  • using the fastest amd quad chip on the market with a high spec pc, and a HD samsung moniter..plays fine here but low light footage dosent look good cos the camera has only a single chipsensor, but still good in good light conditions..for the cash..thing is..i have watched a 3 chip panasonic film, still crap in low light, i think pretty much all camcorders need good light.

  • So true, low light conditions aren't the best for these little camera's.

However, if you're also in photography, the canon 5d mark II is awesome even in extreme low light conditions. Only downsides are the costs and you have to have a good piece of glas in front of it.

  • yeah but the canon 5d mark II is a still camera, not something i would really use, i just use a cybershot compact, dont get me wrong if i had the time i would learn to use a dslr, .. these camcorders are enough toy for me though lol

  • Im so glad i spent the extra money for a HD camcorder it is truely amazing.

  • yeah, for the cash, i dont think you can buy better..glad you like it mate. happy xmas

  • ye you to. Ive been having problems with my SD card so i have to buy a new one tommorow :(

  • you know you need an SDHC right ? anything about 2 gig i think, what problems you had ?

  • Yeah thats what i bought. It was a Kingston 32GB spec 6 SDHC card and that was the problem because ive bought a Sandisk 8GB spec 4 SDHC card and that works fine. Im really impressed so far but the auto focus is really anoying.

  • what settings did u use? mine gets kinda blurry and i need this for video production help?

  • bought a quad core lol

  • no no no i mean what are your camera settings i would like to know so i can get the best out of mine as i just got the same one

  • well , it dosent like fast panning, i have mine on the highest record mode HA1920

and i ussually haveAI pressed on and O.S.I.enabled but i havent had mine that long either. i find if it gets plent light, its ussual pretty good.

  • @robblac ok yeah i figured out it dosent like mapping much today lol but thanks and what exactly is iA ? like what does it do?

  • Intelligent Auto mate, it seems to work well, without choosing scene type etc..

  • Are you able to get crisp images when viewing on a large screen tv? I have similar settings on my camcorder, but my images go grainy even when I just expand to the full 15" computer screen. I plan on calling panasonic tomorrow to hopefully get help or I need to return the camera.

  • probably your pc spec, was jumpy on my old pc... try updating flash player

  • this is rly jumpy is it the camera or just my connection

    please reply
