  • Transocean! Go There!

  • Amo tarablhar nesta empresa que é fantástica!

  • i worked on the discoverer and deep seas at the gulf marine fabrication yard in aransas pass, texas. i welded a lot of stainless piping on these vessels.

  • there is no such accident ^^..everything happens in a purpose

  • My father was the OIM of the Transocean Enerprise for 6 years.

Very well.

  • same technology from 60 years. all money goes to marketing and lawers. nothing left for development.

  • @MillyVanillification Hehe, thats right. American Oil industry been the same for 50 years. The same story goes for everything else. "Don't mess with something that worked for 50 years ago" mentality. You should look to the norh sea and its oil production. More advanced and sophisticated.

  • Anyone that has ever worked on a rig floor knows that everyone on that floor understands that the sh%$ can hit the fan at any moment and they also understand just how dangerous the work they are doing is.. The fact that we can build a rig in mile deep water and then drill another mile or two past the sea floor is an engineering marvel at the least.

Something (the BOP) failed to lockup and that is what you call an accident. It's all going to get cleaned up so you libs take a pill.

  • @txfirehawk -Is it possible that the BOP shears were unable to close, because of a drill pipe coupling inside the BOP? I've heard that suggested. -Also, could the wellbore casing have blown up inside the annular BOP?

  • @txfirehawk I agree, I worked on junk iron land rigs and on some good offshore rigs, it all boils down to what the roughnecks, derrickman and the driller know and can anticipate when they are working. I presume they took a quick kick and had no time to close the rams. the fire was probably caused by a tool spark, or some asshole smoking. Yeah, they smoked on our rigs when we KNEW we were in payzones.

  • Cool music !

    Cost savings wow ! Up to 40 % cheaper ! 35% faster !

    The bottom line Hooray !

They could have used that money to drill a simultaneous relief well as other countries do so we dont have to wait 3 months to save the Ocean .

Transocean setting the standard for ecologocal catastrophe .

  • See wat i mean. Gulf Oil Spill show it all.

  • Hmm these guys owned the Deepwater Horizon right?

  • In this new and improved rig, not once is "Improved" workers safety mentioned, just about how a fat oil man could save some money. Shows you who transocean cares about.

  • @VintageBlake -These new rigs are 10 times safer for the guys on the drilling floor. Not saying they can't still screw up, (obviously) But overall, they have a much safer work environment for the crew. Watch any old drill rig video here, and you'll see that.

  • No 1 , is the Investor. And the Investors are always the No1 in Stupidity. Whos money is it anyway?

The Investor put money where the Contractors took and hire corrupt managers and engineers who in turn exploit Asians (hire bogus manpower pay them peanuts and pocket most of their salaries). The Asian hired are mostly not experienced and not qualified. The shipyards did most of the work exploiting even more people, while their CEO laughed and ripped the benefits.

  • cost of having two drills in one ship. cost of one drill one ship. 2 drills 2 ships, exploring /drilling in 2 areas at the same time. efficiency vs cost of equipments. are you guys making sense? does savings offset the cost of construction and equipments? or operators have to paymore?

  • Obrigado por estarem no Rio de Janeiro Pier 16, Certo estou que iremos executar o melhor possível nessa Revisão.

  • OMG! misssssssss Transocean!! I've worked onshore for 2 yrs. as training coordinator and i miss workin' with the STC's...

  • Transocean are Number 1. Hvaing been and worked on the Deep Water Pathfinder and the Deep Water Discovery they are streets ahead of the competition, no wonder they took over GSF.

  • No one wishes they are American. That has to be the stupidest fucking thing i have ever herd, but since its coming from an american is does not surprise me. Land off the retarded and home of the fat and fucking lazy.

  • Well I worked with Transocean & quit em after 25 yrs cause they lost focus on what they are doing. They love 2 spend time on the computer instead of running the hands out on deck. USA has grown fat over the years, that is why the majority of the US Firms r outsourcing 4 people who r hungry 4 knowledge & efficiency. I disagree with ya on the "No 1 wishes they r American." Immigration 2 the USA over the last 10 yrs is higher than any other time since the early 1900s.

  • They love 2 spend time on the computer instead of running the hands

U WERE PROBABLY JUST TOO STUPID TO B ABLE TO RUN A COMPUTER CORRECTLY.

LOL AND WOULD RATHER YELL AT GUYS ON DECK WHO ALREADY KNEW WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND DIDN'T NEED YOUR FAT ASS YELLING AT THEM .LOL LOSER

  • U know what they say about opinions? They r like assholes everybody has 1. The only COLOR I am worried about is green. I have my job, & all others are 2 support the goal of a rig. I dont yell by the way. I just shuck em. Shucking 1 usely gets the rest of the crews attention & if it dont, shuck some more. I dont need a fuckin pyramid 2 get my job done. What is it with Yelling with u idiots. If u cant work your people, run your ass off 2. 2 many people looking 4 jobs. Head down, ass up.

  • Greetings from Okpo man... keep yer eyes peeled, the Discoverer Clear Leader is out there doing Sea Trials right now... we'll be heading to the Gulf of Mexico in about a month and a video to follow.

  • After reading all your petty comments you sound like someone thats had their ass run off from every offshore company around. Fucking worm...

  • Yes he does sound bitter, probably due to a lack of knowledge and having been told countless times by various people to kiss their asses.

  • You sound pretty bitter and burnt out maybe you should look into another field all together...

  • Good come back stupid person, Although you would not be the first ARAMCO IDIOT i've delt with and when they realize that you should be one of the first to be run off and sent back to digging ditches around your old single lay down

  • bomm muito bommmm, como queria trabalhar em um lugar com uma estrutura dessa, sou apaixonado por perfuração!!!gui, salvador bahia BRASIL..

  • deeper for che@per fuckers, y@nkee b@gsuckers lol

  • both of my brothers work on the nautilus and millenum there both craneoperators

  • Ok i understand now, 2 years ago you were a driller on a single laydown, now your a horses ass company man. and i give you credit for 1 good comment, the one about good iron is only as good as the people on them, a whole rig floor full of locals to make a connection is a bit much.

  • No stupid person i'm not a 601 i just know good iron.

By the way there are 2 kinds of people in this world, There are Americans,

and there are those who wish they were americans!!!

  • You should call yourself the stupid person. what are you talking about???

  • Sorry Peeps, but the latest survey of companies has ROWAN DRILLING #1 in operator satisfaction, don't believe me look it up for yourself

  • ...my ex company! the best one!

  • yes very good

  • Exactly!! and when you work for ARAMCO you look down to every thing!!!!

  • I can not change opinions when it become biological .

  • Don't grade a rig by the scoop n the ice machine n the galley that is a new one!!

yes Ensco is very good but Transocean is the best just look at ther fleet of rigs and by the way i do not work for them right now .

  • Hi man i worked for em and i worked for other and i knew the different they are goooooood and what you see as a hindered operations!!! i see as good safe working policy .

  • Hi man i worked for em and i worked for other and i knew the different they are goooooood and what you see as a hindered operations!!! i see as good safe working policy .
