@eighthegreat You don't really need to keep your head up while doing this kind of practice, it's pretty much impossible because you need to see the obstacles you're stick handling around. In a game situation you don't need to be quite as precise and keeping your head up will come naturally once you're confidant in your puck handling skills.

the  problem at my rink though is they wont let u bring a stick on the ice during public skate when can u do this its the only thing holding me back

find from the rink when they have stick time, some rinks schedule stick time (it's not open hockey)

ha i got the same prob, i just sneak my sticks and pucks on the ice. But i found other rinks around me that have rat hockey and stick and puck all the time.

it's called stick and puck or hockey time or hockey ice or pick up... call them and ask them when you can suit up full gear and get this done.

@MrNjdevilsfan30 like at my rink they have a think called open hockey where they let u suit up in full equipment and practice stickhandling...they sometimes after a while will play a pick up game after everyone is dun practicing but u do not have to participate if u do not want to....i hope that helped
