I believe even porsche themselves said that they won't fit those with an lsd cause then it'd be faster around a track than a 911.

I think it's because Ferdinand Porsche since he design the very first car for the people, the VW Sedan, he wanted to make his own company and caus after the war pieces were very limited he had to use lots of pieces of the VW and he also first used a design almost as the VW and after that he designed the shape we all know I think that shape is more tradition than aerodynamics, besides, did u know that new designs have been rejected and that the 911 redesigns have only been approven 5 or 6 times?

Yes, they are both 911s. The GT2 is faster and more expensive. With the price of a GT2 you can buy almost two GT3.

@marchettino You are right thats is better on track on the long run, but honestly I've had the chance of taking a GT2 on track at the Paul Ricard ( castellet ) and the GT3RS simply had no chance, its underpowered and actually boring. The GT2 is really the ultimate track weapon. However if you want to have fun stick to the GTS RS 996 since its the last porsch produced with no TC. All the 997 models have TC even if you turn of PSM so its just kinda boring. Thankfully GT2 is powerful so fun :)

A Porsche GT2 is a 911 Turbo without 4 wheel drive and less weight and a different body - kit. A GT3 is the same car, no 4 wheel drive and no turbos and a GT3 RS is the same as a GT3 but lighter still.
