Drover is a great drummer, and he can play more than drums you know so don't discount the guy as a hack. I think this lineup for Megadeth is a good one, James seems to be a good fit as well.

Actually, if you pay attention to the lyrics, it makes perfect sense. Perhaps it's due to the fact that I write that I'd listen to the lyrics. The lyrics talk about the Gears of War (the elements and such that make war happen). So yes, it does represent the whole concept of the makings (gears) of war very well.

Drover is a great drummer, and he can play more than drums you know so don't discount the guy as a hack. I think this lineup for Megadeth is a good one, James seems to be a good fit as well.

Actually, if you pay attention to the lyrics, it makes perfect sense. Perhaps it's due to the fact that I write that I'd listen to the lyrics. The lyrics talk about the Gears of War (the elements and such that make war happen). So yes, it does represent the whole concept of the makings (gears) of war very well.

Dave didn't kick any of those members out except Menza b/c he was lying to the band (have you seen the behind the music?) Friedman flat out decided to leave after "risk" for "musical differences;" and Ellefson sued Mustaine for some kind of publishing rights to the band.
