Back in the 80's Lee Andrews was appearing at the Music Pier in O.C. NJ & it was our 25th wedding anniversary.. We went back stage and met him and his wife. He autographed his Gothic LP for me, then during the show he called us out to slow dance by ourselves to one of his songs. His son was on the drums and now plays in the band on the Fallon Show. Very nice gentleman. I've always enjoy hearing his songs when listening to my Sirrius radio on the oldies station
I cry my eyes out over the sound of this magical music....I listen to it all the time while I drive my 1957 Chevy and 1964 Chevy Impala to car shows. When I sang years ago, I always included some doo wop in my song selections, and the audiences loved those songs as much I did...LONG LIVE DOO WOP!...
