It is all in how they are introduced to it. Also a horse you hates getting a bath by hose (like Q) can abolutely enjoyed playing in puddles or ponds. They are all individuals.

lol! I had a horse named Rosco as well and he wasa great swimmer! We used to have this small pond, but it was deep and we would swim from one side to the other. I knew horses can swim, but he could SWIM very fast. I would have to hold onto his mane as I was being dragged in the water lol! Man I miss my horse!
