There's a 10 million watt reactor that was cemented underground & flooded. The cooling area across the river is the dangerous spot. 2 bridges were took down leading to it,but there is a road leading to it off Shoal Creek Rd. Its got a gate, but you can ride a bike up there.
@SonsOfLiberty65 From the 1940's until 1971 Lockheed was experimenting with nuclear powered aircraft's they also did nuclear test on aircraft parts and the land inside Dawson forest. There are still fenced off areas that are radioactive. Look it up. It has an interesting history. One weird place......
I was there a few weeks ago with my friend shauna. her cousin levi frady (google it) was murdered there years ago. we went to mourn his death and we were attacked by a group of cult people wanting to sacrifice us. luckily we got away.
@thecardrawer10 Lots of bodies have turned up there over the years. I'm not worried about "children of the corn" but will say again that the place had a weird vibe. I have no interest in going back there. I'm sure the cult people where just locals lol. There are some weird folk in Dville.
@baluhund1 It is this place was nicknamed Ga area 51 because of the military experiments that went on here. This entire forest should be fenced off. The place is contaminated.
I've been lucky enough to go through some of the tunnels one which led to steel doors which had locked and sealed shut. Some say they left alot of the machinery down there I don't know hownthey would know that but yeah kjnda creepy
@ShadowZaxus From what I have read they left everything down there because if the radiation. There is a lot of stuff out there to discover but I'm staying away. Something inside is telling me not to go back.
Nah You won't get radiation at that place. I know that forest like the back of my hand. There are two places where you can get radiation side effects any they're fenced off. Underground is really cool. I don't recommend going down there unless you want to get arrested. It's still government property underground and they are serious about staying away from there. this place is a lot of fun. Just be careful!
@LeonRFpoa I'm uploading them now. Its taking forever. I have to work on this computer sometime soon. I recently wiped it out and recovered it so I have to get it cleaned up again. That was a freaky spider.
@KryptKeeper40 There are several miles of underground tunnels. This place is freaking huge! They used a bulldozer to cover up the entrances to the tunnels and they flooded them with a river that goes through the forest. I know people who have taken rafts and kayaks down there. Not me! I have a video with a large building coming up but we didn't even make it to the largest spot. Its over 3 archers of solid concrete with some very interesting buildings. That's Where things happened.
@ArmyStinger150 There is no telling. I have herd that when they where experimenting out there they turned trees into a plastic like material. The place had a weird vibe for sure. I have some better videos coming up and I'm going back lol.
@GlockPunisher1 it was so hot out there that we never even needed to needed to take a wiss. My head started hurting after the first trek in. His did too. I think the irradiated soil material was playing on us, I have never seen heat like that outside a coastal beach.
Notice we got a lot hotter than usual even in the shade. I think there is a background level of rads there that you can still feel. They say it feels like a strange heat and it was strangely hot today. I am thinking ppl just don't notice it in the midsummer heat. I would like to examine the local horses for growths or black spots on their skin.
@LeonRFpoa It was smoking hot out there. If you spend any amount of time in dville you can clearly see the effects of radiation. I know someone who knows where every spot is out there. I'm going to wait a month or so to go back just in case.
