  • Charlie,

I'v been listening to you for about an hour now because I am writing a comparative essay on the Qin and Pansori music from Korea for one of my courses. I would just like to say that if it wasn't for this music I would have freaked out by now and thrown my laptop out of my 4th floor window into the rain. Thank you.

  • Good try! This is a very hard piece. Hope you pose this again, I'm sure you been improve a lot. Really want to hear it. The costume is creative;)

  • 听古琴瀟湘水雲

    南宋伤怀郭楚望,元蒙铁骑碎河山。

    寄意潇湘与水云,至今听来尤荡肠。

friend, you are a talented and unique amateur; you play very well and you have a good guqin. I like all your pieces. Your playing is not as tight as many academic musicians do it, thus giving the music notes more space. Hope you keep playing and improving your own style. Best wishes. YZ

  • this is so amazing i forgot what i wanted to write...

  • oh my god.

  • Are you amazed or what?

  • Yeah, I guess you can call it that.

  • I have to admit this is not an easy piece to play. Not only on the techniques, but also on creating the ambiance and understanding the background of this piece when it was composed.

  • are the clouds so fugitives ?

  • music fountain

  • A sound from outer space!

    Only one word: BEAUTIFUL!

    Thanks for such great sound,

    Volker

  • Thanks, but I must admit that I play better than I did a year ago.

  • I could never play this piece properly, primarily because of the sucky quality of my instrument (I can't press on the upper register properly, the bridge is too high and the board slopes down too much for the sake of steel strings).

So yes...great job on a proper rendition of the piece!

  • Thanks.

Oh, I met Lin Youren and his daughter Lin Chen today (2007/05/06) at my LYQS yaji. His playing is very captivating.
