I think it's weird if you try on everything.. you should know your body enough before you go shopping to be able to not have to try on EVERYTHING. Dresses and shoes, or things that are in fashion-forward styles or cuts, are the only things I try on. Things that are unpredictable or new to my wardrobe.

If the item is something I've never worn, or it's a new store I've never been too, I'll try on the clothes to see how their sizes run. Otherwise I'll just pick what I like, and return it if it doesn't fit. I haven't actually had to return a lot of items this way. Maybe 2, or 3.

The majority of the time I do try on my items before I buy them but I HATE the dressing room unless I know FOR SURE that I am the only one in there. Parents don't know how to control their kids while they shop so they always end up looking under the stalls which is very uncomforable! lol I'll be trying something on at the mall and what do ya know, little girl sticks her head under your stall and sees ya. But if it's a store with a good return policy and the item isn't expensive, I'll just buy without trying.
