@farmer1710 , not Really, in cricket you can smash the ball where ever you want, unlike baseball you get a foul for hitting it offside or behind you. Also you do not know that in Cricket it is many times easier hit the ball because the bat has more surface area.

In Cricket a player can bat many times they want, in baseball you only get three chances.
