Reminds me of SMB1. On the NES version, pausing removes all forward momentum. And because of the Famicom's lack of 2P Start/Select, Mario could easily kill Luigi if he felt like it. :P

At least this level didn't have the same trap as Scarlett Devil Mario. As I recall, you had to push a P-Switch to turn off the auto pause so the game wouldn't crash after pushing the big switch?
