  • Mary worshiping again, I see!

  • @Menechem What are you talkin about? If you dont know what the Catholic Church is about dont comment on here with ignorance you obviously dont. Worshipping Mary is not practiced in the Catholic Church we worship God alone, get out of here with stereotype!

  • @dis00612 I was raised in Rome, I lnow exactly what its about. If you worship God alone, than why is Mary called queen of Heaven? Study Jeremiah 44, my people were judged harshly for worshiping such a deity, Revelation 12 does not back the Assumption and Queenship of Mary. I know Catholic Doctrine and Dogma inside and out, it does not match with what Scripture teaches! Would you possibly tell me how many times I need to attend Mass in order to be saved?

  • @Menechem If you never went to mass in your life and it was the hour of your death and yu repented to God with a contrite heart yu yurself will be saved. You obviously dont know what the church is about if you say this. Also, concerning Jeremiah 44 i would rather message this conversation through inboxing because comment wont let you write that many words. lol so lets continue there.

  • @dis00612 Who are you to say I never went to Mass in my life? I was an extraordinary minister of the Eucharist. How can you make such judgements when you do not even know me? I served on the Altar as an Altar boy. I even taught children's liturgy, and Sunday School. I was involved with Lifeteen as a Teenager Living in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. I served at both Tridentine, and Novus Ordo Masses, as well as at Divine Liturgies (I often would go to 9 AM Liturgy, before the 6:00PM Lifeteen Mass)

  • @Menechem Do you not see the word "IF" before the sentence?

  • @dis00612 I obviously do know what the church teaches, but this is not my issue. My issue is this as a baptized Catholic, tell me how many Masses I need to attend for my salvation? BTW, I did not see the 'if'.

  • @Menechem It is a sin to miss mas intentionally on Sunday and if one dies in mortal sin, you know where the soul goes but, if a soul where to go to mass only 1 times and die in a state of grace, they themselves would attain salvation. There is not a number, its ignorant to say "How many masses do i need to attend" for the mass gives us the strength and graces to help us attain salvation so I wouldnt even be the one to answer that question.

  • @dis00612 My point exactly. NEWS FLASH, IT'S NOT A SIN TO MISS MASS. Scripture States quite clearly (especially in the Pauline Epistles), that all one needs for salvation is faith in Christ alone. We are saved by Grace through faith in Christ is what Paul teaches. Having crackers and wine every Sunday is not what saves us, our relationship and faith in Christ Jesus alone is what saves us. His Sacrifice was once offered (Heb. 9-10),no use in reoffering it every Sun in the guise of 'representing'.

  • @Menechem Faith without works is dead! All you need to do is have faith in Christ alone? mhm, im bout to inbox you this message because what I am about to say is to much to write for a comment.

  • @dis00612 First of all you’re twisting my words, and more importantly you’re twisting Scripture. SALVATION IS A FREE GIFT, there is nothing man can do to earn it on his own except believe in Christ (John 3:16, Romans, Galatians). Yes Faith without works, but read where James says this, he’ll show you what kind of works (not the sacramental works of Rome).

  • For the first time I feel the Saint Marry surrounding the Jesus Christ our saviour on the CROSS. How gratefull, they (Mother and Mary) covers our spirit and body, and filled us with their saint pure love for us mankaind from the Heaven. I recognized that as shown in the Child Jesus staying inside the Mary before the Sacred Birth of Jesus Christ, Mary always cover Jesus and pass to the Jesus Christ of our pray to God also in the Heaven now&forever. These three-hold co-exsistance!!! with us.

  • Did you Jesus wasn't even born on Christmas?

  • @JosherForder christmas is a word used to say jesus' birthday. the date of

celebrating that is irrelevant. even if we were celebrating that june 17, for example

it still would be referred as christmas........

  • How do you feel about that?

  • It is usually the Case that the Orthodox music is done alcapalla.

  • Jesus is Lord!

  • i like the music. we in the orthodox church dont use music. not totally sure why, but that varies cuz the greeks use music in their church. one question though-when catholics cross themselves, why do they go from left-to-right? we in the orthodox church go from right-to-left, and i would like to know the reason for such a difference

  • I am Russian Orthodox, but went through 12 grades of Catholic School. Roman Catholics cross themselves left to right because they are copying the blessing of the priest, who blesses from left to right because he is blessing the people, not receiving a blessing. Orthodox Christians cross themselves right to left because we are receiving the blessing, it is a mirror image of the priest's blessing.

  • wow! i didnt know that! thanks!

  • Comment removed

  • The difference is more due to custom than anything. In the Latin Rite, the Sign of the Cross is a symbolic recreation of Christ's life: he existed in heaven (head), came down to earth (chest), descended into hell (left), and was raised to God's right hand (right).

Also, if you read the parable of the Goats and Sheeps, we are asking to be moved from the goats at Christ's left hand to the sheep at his right (eternal blessedness in heaven).

  • The Eastern Orthodox use music. Have you heard of the Trisagion Hymm?

  • yeah, but we sing it. what i meant was that we in the orthodox church dont use musical INSTRUMENTS to assist us in our hymns-just vocals

  • Some Greek Orthodox and Russian Orthodox Churchs use Organs and Coptic Churchs use gongs and cymbals etc.

  • really? thats fascinating! i went to a greek church once and they had an organ, but i thought that was just an anomoly. but ive never been to a russian church that used an organ. i didnt think that was possible!

  • One of my organist friends was invited by the Patriarch of Moscow to do a report on the Organs in all of the Russian Orthodox Churchs that had one, in Russia. It took 6 months and Russia was still under communist rule.

  • fascinating! and what did he find? how many russian orthodox churches have an organ?

  • 3 semaniaries in Moscow and St.Petersburg, 2 semaniaries in Stalingrad and 1 in Goukey had organs.

  • thats incredible! did he also witness it being used in the service? im curious as to how the organ was incorporated into the liturgy, given the orthodox preferance for the human voice

  • I doubt so. It was mainly for matinence and inspection. As far as I know the only time he went to liturgy was when their was no Catholic church in his area and those churchs did not have organs.

  • @tamandocomando Go to a Ukrainian Catholic church as you will be able to receive communion but have a sense of 'Orthodox Christianity'

  • Belíssima Missa, a Santa Missa dita de São Pio V. Quando a Igreja de Roma vai acordar e então finalmente destruir o Missal de Paulo VI E AS HERESIAS CONCILIARES DO VATICANO II e deixar que o Sol volte a brilhar. Quando Igrejas barrocas, antigos templos terão o altar Mor versus Deum reutilizados? Quando a antiga ordem estabelecida voltará?

  • Salve Regina

O clemens, o pia, o dulcis Virgo Maria.

  • Don't be a little faggot. Trolling a comments wall just means your some damn loser who has nothing better to do than spread negativity and otherwise act like some stupid savage prick, you punk bitch. Sounding like some ignorant street-walking whore's bastard doesn't make you cool it just shows how worthless you are. Kindly go fuck your mother you ugly cunt.

  • very bice christian language, gives a nice insight into the christian character

  • lol, and just what makes you think I'm a You know, justified all you stupidity and Christian? Oh but don't worry I am a Christian, I'm sure that I called you out has made you feel a lot better about yourself. ignorance.

  • You must be on some holier-than-thou high over my cursing at you. "Oooh the Christian isn't thumping his Bible at me but is one of those hyporcrites I know all the Jesus lovers are." Yes I believe in infallible all-knowing being but I have no qualms about saying the truth and naming you for what you are, a loser, someone doomed to failure. You know what blows me away?

  • You came here and you sounded like a douche first but I'm the one being mocked because of what I've said? You don't believe in God, but does that somehow mean you have the right to be a jerk? Are you free to disregard civility and come into a place where you are assuredly not welcome and sound like the bigot you are? I don't think so, fucker.

  • But tell me? What is it about fat atheist that makes them so bitter? What? Did you get picked last to play kickball? None of the girls would look at you twice? Is that it? or did daddy leave you at an early age? Mom bitch? Or are you just sexually frustrated because no one wants you and probably never will? Tell me what makes you so bitter that the only way you can feel about your fat old self is mock the beliefs of others?

  • You have some very interesting and prosaic fantasies about mothers. It's good to know that christianity resides safely in the hands of such a cultured ambassador.

  • Look into how the Exodus actually happened, it is what modern historians call "Hyksos Expulsion".

Did you know that all the kings spoken of in the historical books of the Bible have been proven to be true?

The prophecies of Isaiah have been proven to have been writen over 100 years before Jesus' birth. That is why the dead sea scrolls are so important.

Have you even studied up on the historicity of Jesus? Almost every historian agrees Jesus of Nazareth was a factual historical character.

  • Dziękuję Ojcze Karolu!
