As a General Manager of a restaraunt, I can tell you that our policy is no visible ink. When you were getting your ink done, you should have thought about that. When I got my ink done, they were put on my chest, and on my upper arms, so they could be concealed with ease,even with a t shirt. I have five years technology sales experience selling products and services, indirect supervisory, a year as territory network technician, two AA degrees, perfect attendance in tech-mag high school with 32 credits, four years at Best Buy in AV Sales, 24 years old, about to buy house, and I just got into Account Management 100K+. I walked to college until I was 21, and worked some shitty jobs too. One day I got bold, asserted myself, and walked into Best Buy dressed up and asked for a job.

How I speak in my own private life is my business, Im quite the proffesional though not that I care, there not hiring me for my personal life, there hiring me for my skills
WRONG! Take it from a professional recruiter, skills may be a significant positive factor for HIRING an applicant, BUT tattoos can be a disqualifying factor regardless of skills. Believe it, you are not the only applicant with a qualifying skill set! When you get to the interview, "chemistry" is at least as important as your untested, untried skills. You wanna get hired? Change ya f*ckin' attitude toward hiring managers!
In the Town I live in, your ink on your body does not mean a thing. If you discriminate on someone based on there freedom to ink there body, than you are truly a SHITTY hiring manager anyway.. but thanks for the comment
Ive never had a manager turn me down for my tattoos... Plus being the prof I am, I always make sure that for interview purposes, they are covered by a business shirt
@H0rseWithNoName I have you know i have had 5 different job coaches in the past 5 yrs and none of them have produced me a job but yet they got jobs for ex felons and Bi polor clients i have been possitive for 5 yrs and now im lossing my patients with my job coach and i feel its hopeless there is no work out there
Job hunting sucks. I'm going out sometime this week (whenever I can get my parents car) with a whole stack of resume's and just handing them out where ever I can. I'll settle for a McJob if I have to, I just need something.

I was having problems with job hunting too but I dont have to worry about working now because I got an inheritance when my grandparents died and I am set up for life or atleast until I crash and burn in the stock market
Nasty situation. I just go laid off because my job is being outsourced to Buenos Ares. Dislocated workers seems to be trying to get me into the most brain dead jobs available, and Im trying to afford school and prep for the birth of my kid. Ouch.
Oh man, I hear you. My trouble is the opposite, to begin with I only need 16 hours a week, which needs to be between 9.30-2.30 because I have a kid at school, and if you think Uncle Sam strips you of your cash, try paying for childcare too! "Frustrating" doesn't cover it.
yea, if I had a kid right now I would not be able to afford toilet paper let alone food! God the economy sucks, but what can you do, but play the lottery and hold your hand over your ass!
