Prachtig lied, Ik kende het al van jaren terug toen ik op vakantie was p Seram/my roots. Toen zongen ze dit lied ter afscheid, Wist toen nog niet dat Buli op Halmahera Timur was. Nu wonen er familieleden van mij daar, Dit jaar een tour Maluku Utarah gedaan: practhig! Maar helaas alleen Halmahera Utarah gedaan,. Ook nog naar het eiland Kakara geweest waar (bung) Otje Tigele vandaan komt. (we gingen naar de fam, Jano). Wie nog niet naar Maluku Utarah geweest is: echt een aanrader.

Wished I wasn't scared of long flights, but one day I will.

Dad was the only one here, his brothers/sister and their family are still in Maluku.

I only see pictures and listen to others when they're telling about their vacations.

I'm longing to see where my parents came from, and meet their family.
