Tony-thank you so much for doing this film. Though I was a close friend of Geoffrey's, and had the honour of knowing and loving Katie for many years, I never had the opportunity to visit Stuyvesant St. I had heard many stories of it from Geoffrey, so thank you again for giving me the visual. It is so Katie. Congratulations on your new baby. I know your life has much more meaning and I am very happy for you. Thanx again. Tasia
Thank you for the compliments. I'm thrilled it allows someone like your self who knew Katie but not the house to visualize her home. Putting it together was a (short) labour of love.
Katie converted this house, from workmen's dorms, in the mid-1960's. She bought the house when everyone else was leaving the East Village. She decorated it herself and furnished it with trips to flea markets.
thank you.. =]
