@themoaspecial it shows you exactly what to do, put a little wax on your hands and move em like he does, then make spikes like he does. if your haircut sucks to begin with it won't work, and he's probably got shukumo kyousei treatment (japanese hair straightening) which means his hair complies 100% with styling products. i have it too and it's awesome

@themoaspecial kind of been a while since your comment, but that's why many people tend to style their hair with a straightener (even if it is straight) when styling. I tend to wave the the hair closest to the roots by sort of curling it in the opposite direction to where I want it to sit, then as I go higher straighten or curl it in the other direction. It gives it easier volume when adding product and can look interesting, since you can do it in many ways.

depends how long. I have shoulder length myself with layers(although the hair at the top is getting longer,need a haircut) but it doesn't really spike UP my hair, just makes the ends spikey.

got2b is for me the best hairspray. But it all depends on your own hair. My hair gets flat really fast so doesn't matter what I do to it I can't get it to stay up in a long term.

Also you might try teasing it. Because the gatsby products are more for the guys(they often have shorter hair) it's not hard for them to get the spiky look. Because us girls have a little longer hair it doesn't help just using the wax and hairspray, teasing it will definitely do thwe trick:)

O___o I'm european and the pink gatsby works perfectly fine for me. And a lot of european guys use it as well and it works for them as well, while some asians think it doesn't work at all. So like I said, it all depends on the hair.You can't possibly say all asian have same hair? just like not every european has same hairtype.
