It seems like in every game Siegfried gets slower and slower. in Soul Blade was like on crack or something that's how fast he was, and now in SC4 he's like an old man picking up a very heavy stick.. or something. lol. I can't wait for #5 when he's actually an old man, since he's going to be like 40 in that game:)

So if this is the actual Soulcalibur, then what in the hell is Soul Blade? I'm confused, because in one of Siegfried's Soul Blade endings he picks up SoulEdge and becomes Nightmare, and here, he just returns to his people. Also, what's with their different appearances? Here, Siegfried is blonde, and in SoulBlade, he's got orange hair.

Also, there are multiple endings for every character, but it turns out that most of the time only one carries over to the sequel

the storyline from SC lasts 3 years, when nightmare gets to bring his father back to life, he understand that no sword will do that, he foughts xianghua and losing to her SIEGFRIED takes the control again, he returns to his people, however he leaves again carrying souledge with himself, then again the sword turns him into Nightmare (SC-SC2)

this game was really amzing, such a nice starter for the series then came number 2 and i was like wait a second, #2 YES!!!! i never really realaised there was still more sc but then i went to my uncles house and saw it and i was reallly excited to see it and then i kinda stole it from him hehe any way yeah ive played all the games now and friggin sc2 is better than 4 in my opinion, mor original and weapon master is badass, the story mode on sc 4 is arcade mode on sc2 like its sooo short.

Also, Misturugi has been to Ostrheinsburg Castle. This theory may have some 'truth' in it after all.

@maplestorywonder what happens is he turns into nightmare during SC1 then in between or in the begining of SC2 he escapes nightmare, but ultimately falls to soul edge again, then at the end of SC2, he frees himself of nightmare's grip, thanks to a beaten raphael who unknowingly forced soul edge to loosen his grip on siegfried by plunging his rapier into soul edge in a last attempt to slay nightmare. then during SC3 and SC4, inferno "reforms" in the form of his most familiar host: siegfried.
