ARRGGGG! Why is the battle planning so bad!? Why wouldn't you keep on the high ground?! Why would you choose to fire arrows AFTER your infantry engaged the enemy?! Why didn't you summon the phoenix first thing to burn them all?! The enemy force had zero discipline, they were little more than an angry mob! It should have been a slaughter!

@berserkberserker I think its because the battle was designed by the kids that were sent to Narnia. Did you notice that the griffins dropping rocks resembles the Nazi's bombing their city in the beginning of the movie? Other than that, those kids probably had no idea about battle tactics. Furthermore and most importantly, the battle wouldn't look as cool if they stood on a hill shooting arrows down at the enemy.

The thing is though, I'm 16 and I would have known better...

They do have to be given credit for retreating through the rocks, that did at least limit the enemies advantage in numbers.

But I agree, the battle wouldn't have been as cool if they did stay on the high ground, and also, this is a Hollywood movie and I've never seen a Hollywood movie that was actually REALISTIC... xD

i know it is a movie for kids - but i really hated the fact that kids led an army - thats the point where the movie lost me - no matter what, i just couldn t take the movie anymore serious....

the actors weren t the worst - but neither the best. young actors like Haley Joel Osment in "pay it forward" would have been perfect - cause the actors in narnia showed not enough emotions
