I see you all under a picnic table, then I see all the trees that were near by. Then I think, "Why didn't they put the picnic table under a tree for double the protection?"
i know alot of people have suggested this, but i'd really want to see an inTransit world edition, where you travel to one city of every country(the more known ones anyway) and take the least amount of planes as possible(across oceans are fine, of course) i just think it might get alot of views.
Love this trip, I'm from Minnesota and have been in several of the towns so far that you've shown, I'm in South Florida now, sure do miss the beauty of Minnesota, what did you think of the people you met? Minnesota nice?
Actually I kind of like the size of the videos as they are. The attention span of most people won't sit through something that's the size of a tv show without commerical breaks. Even though there is that pause button. It's like waiting for my favorite cartoon to air next week or something. Gives one something to look forward to. Oh, and those nice arms you built up from all that paddling. ;)
@pdrop I love your videos but they are a bit short in my opinion. Would you mind just adding more footage so that we can see more of what the trip is like. The way it is now is simply so good and fun that i want to see more of it :D
I love watching your videos.... I hope to do this one day :]
One question, how do you afford it? Did you save up for a year or two and did you request like a couple months off work or what? Im trying to figure out how i can get to this point one day ( i realize that was more than one question, LOL)!?
This is great. It looks like you're gaining quite a bit of followers! I'm happy for you. Keep on doing your thing and making great videos like this. Always entertaining.
hey Pete, as with all your videos I "liked" before it was done loading and as always you never disappoint. You need to be growing an EPIC beard like that other dude.
iv planned this trip 4 times and every time every1 backs out on me. its cool u filmed it but even funnier all the tips and tricks i literally scream at the screen while watching this. u should flip the canoes every night so animals cant get in and suprise u in the morning. the storm. u should have flipped the canoes and put them over the pick-nick bench and put a tarp over the canoes.
You guys didn't make that storm seem very serious. I suppose it mightn't have seemed like it to you, but I remember following your journey this summer and worrying about your safety that day.
@DunkRyan Those were pretty intense storms that day. I wish we had an waterproof housing for the nice camera, I think it would've double the intensity factor.
Ahh, always interesting when things go awry. 0o Was that hail I saw during one of those storms? XD and Im fascinated by how much you've had to portage on this trip, guess I just never thought of all the obstacles that would be on a river XD
@thatirishkid333 because that's more work than just bilging out the water. On top of the canoes weighing 80 lbs, we have gear, water containers, portage carts, food, and other loose items that would either get blown away or sent downstream if we unloaded every time we hit rain.
@pdrop I think he meant turning the canoes side ways after it rains instead of scooping out all the water manually. But besides that, all your videos are awesome!
Midwest thunder storms are THE BEST!

Your cameraman did a good job, it's not easy shooting video with a DSLR like the 60D, much more difficult than with a camcorder.
