  • Great Ship after a great tradition. To see the original The Sullivans, DD-537, go to "ronfurg" on You Tube. I took my Midshipman Cruise on The Sullivans during the summer of 1962. At the time it was home-ported in Newport, RI and the cruise took us to New York City and Halifax, Nova Scotia as well as to anti-submarine warfare operations off the east coast.

  • I'm not even Irish I am English/American though and I am soooooo Happy they named a ship "The Sullivans"!!!

    It is going to be the greatest ship ever!!!
