  • @crazysoccerfreak15 who gives a crap? thumbs up if u dont give a crap

  • @athletisizeical look no thumbs up

  • Lol, Now suddenly my two shelties look calm.

  • i just got a 7 week old sheltie puppy yeasterday. Shes so sweet and playful. Her name is adelaid

  • @athletisizeical Very cool! You're in for years of enjoyment and love. You should post some videos when you get a chance.

  • @sniborlrak yeah i should do that sometime

  • LOL. These guys seem like they're just bored and looking for a mentally or physically stimulating job.

  • My Sheltie used to do the following:

-bite the wheels of my wheelie bin when they rotated

-Bite the wheels of my bicycle when they rotated

-Go pyscho and make her gums bleed after trying to eat my houso broom when i swept the floor

    -Go nuts at the lawnmower

  • my sheltie was nowhere near as spastic as these dogs.

  • Did you raise that sheltie in a Tilt-a-whirl or something? :P

  • My Sheltie also hates it when we change the garbage bag. He absolutely loathes when I take the recycling out. But the thing he hates the most are airplanes that fly over our house. He runs the length of the yard in a frenzy, barking to chase them off.

  • @bjackson5703 We had a tin roof on our patio...our Sheltie - who was cage-bred and had extreme back and hip problems - would run the perimeter of our huge yard, barking her head off at the rain; my Mom would literally have to tackle her to bring her inside.

  • holy crap i have two shelties and they arent as spazzy as these guys. they both are tricksters and do agility. if you ever go to petco they are on some of the training videos

  • Ohhh Your shelties are so cute!!! my doesent really bark much

  • I have a sheltie and she aks just like that black fured one

  • running in circles, sneezing, dancing hopping, and going after vacuums must be a shelties thing haha my two that do the same and if I get on a chair to reach something on the top shelf they both go nuts. I love them to bits and would never want any other breed but if I clean the house they have to go out in the back yard.

But amazing well behaved(most of the time) dogs. I can take them anywhere and you'd never know I'd brought a dog with me.

  • Lol my sheltie kept growling and howling at your dogs' barks throughout the whole video...you should've had the barking of other dogs in the list.

Our sheltie loves going after the vacuum...we never let her near it, we don't want her hurt.

  • @raspberrymuffin I want another one! They're so full of life and so loving!

  • ahahahahaahha

  • I LOVE shelties and I've had a bunch of them. I appreciate their energy... Beautiful dogs:)

  • hahahhhaha this is HILARIOUS!!

  • I just love how the tri-color one spins!

  • They are absolutely nuts!!

I love it! =D I have a shetlies and she goes crazy for some of those things too. haha Great video!

  • Wooooow my sheltie doesnt bark nearly as much!OMG

  • @BTortoise1 They sound like a great big dog they're so loud!

  • @crazysoccerfreak15 Young whippersnapper with no respect...

  • @sniborlrak That's telling 'em!

  • @sniborlrak Your dogs are very, very nice, and also, very under exercised and bored. They do need to get out more, longer walks, more running freely if you have a place where they can. These are herding dogs, and need to RUN--good for them, good for you.

  • @crazysoccerfreak15 Negative people with no life make comments like that

  • @meddetect10 oh, your awsome

  • @crazysoccerfreak15 Some of the best pets I've ever had were from shelters or "throw aways." We now have a 19 year old cat and she is such a joy too! They take so little and give back so much.

  • @crazysoccerfreak15 oh and your life in your moms basement, never talking to a girl, playing videogames and getting pwned 24/7 is a life? HAVE SOME RESPECT OR I'LL KICK YOUR BUTT!

  • @athletisizeical First off i dont live in my moms basement,2nd I am a girl not a boy, I dont play video games 24/7 and ,oh I am sooo scared of getting my butt kicked.

  • It's so FLUFFY!!!

  • Mine used to get SO mad whenever we would get ice out the the freezer :)

  • Cute vid! I love watching that trademark Sheltie spin. Mine used to do that all the time!

  • how did you train it to walk with you without a leash?

  • @thewapow lol. you call that 'walking'? I call it spinning.

  • @sniborlrak I miss my Sheltie-had to have her put down at age 13. She had been abused and abandoned when I got her, and she was living in a pig pen. Her fur was filthy and matted and took me an hour and a half to clean her up-had to use two tubs of water she was so dirty. I got some conditioner from the vet because her skin was a hideous mess.

I got her trimmed and fluffed up and she was absolutely beautiful. She was such a joy. She was very fond of the baby and gentle with him.

  • @thewapow shelties will stay near you and not run off, they love their people more than anything

  • @wergersnee yeah but mine runs around the whole neighbourhood before coming back to me. He never got lost before but I never go without a leash because I'm afraid he might get hit by a car or something (he chases after cars).

  • @thewapow Shelties rarely need a leash. They are a masters dog and never leave them. We had one and he was soooo great! Never leashed or fenced in. He would run and play but never took off even with other dogs, cats and small animals around.

  • #11 the UPS truck??

#12 Taking out (or putting down) the ironing board)!!

  • Lol this is so funneh. Daily chores are so loud in that house. =p my dad had a sheltie, we lost her more than a year ago now. But she ALSO went nuts around the vacuum and would run away and come back like a crazy person when off-leash. These dogs are incredible, extremely smart and they develop really interesting, unique personalities.

  • Hahaha, it got to the point with mine where I couldn't even say the word "Walk" or "Mailbox" without her flipping out. She also went crazy over sprinklers like these shelties did with the hose. She feared the vacuum, but went crazy attack/bark for the pool sweeping machine. She would jump in the pool and try to chase it.

  • Ging up into the attic would set my sheltie off, that habit was transfered down thru three generations of dogs

  • my sheltie goes bezerk for every motor cycle that is driving by, but has no problem with a bike that is parked, she goes fruity if we get the hicups, she goes bezerk if my husband goes to drive away without her in the car. or if she hears another car just like ours on a walk she thinks it is him and we are chasing all dark coloured sunfires with a slight muffler problem, of which there are many. People should know the shelties are being provoked for the film they don't always act like nuts.

  • Aww, that last clip made me dizzy just watching her! What a precious little thing <3

  • @daphneisthebest thanx, and yes, makes me dizzy too!

  • @sniborlrak Your shelties are really beautiful and funny! could you please tell me(in detail please and thank you) what their tempermant is like, excercise, food, toys etc.My family is planning on getting a sheltie soon and I would like to know more about them through somebody that owns a sheltie.Thank you so much!

  • My.sheltie.is.just as neurotic

  • c@emie5223 My condolences! Just kidding of course, it's their neuroces that gives them their personality which makes us love them so much.

  • THERE IT IS DAD! THERE IT IS! THERE'S THE MAILBOX DAD! DAD! DAD! LOOK! RIGHT HERE! THE MAILBOX IS RIGHT HERE DAD!

  • that's kinda ridiculous...they shouldn't be going nuts over those things. and I think you are over feeding the sable and white. good day! :)

  • Boy, that tri-color sure loves to spin!

  • @lemondropcentral14 Yeah, I don't know which she likes more, spinning, barking, or running :D

  • Awww i love how playful they are! :D especially the one spinning in circles, the last clip made me think of Finding Nemo...'just keep spinning, just keep spinning, spinning, spinning,....' xD

  • On number 3 my sheltie does the opposite, it rubs from the vaccum.

  • LOL Insane. there's a reason why houses aren't stuck together.

  • retarded dogs...

  • when the black one spins around it cracks me up. so cutee

  • lol so basically....everything sets them off.

  • They're adorable; just need a good long daily walk. ...kisses....

  • They bark pretty much :/ But they're soo adorable :)

  • LOL!! Is there anything you guys can do without them going crazy? LOL, you must have a ton of migraine pills on hand from all of that excessive barking!

  • How long can you leave them alone for?

  • 95% of dogs will hate vacuum cleaners

  • such beautiful dogs! i love shelties!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @snowfoxxie you obviously have good taste xDD

  • MY sheltie tweaks when i bring out my flip flops and a leash he'll throw his whole body at me like TAKE ME WITH YOUUUU

  • My sheltie Margo goes nuts for popcorn she can hear us popping it and sits in the kitchen until she gets some.

  • MY GOD, WHAT BEAUITFUL SHELTIES YOU HAVE!!! I've had a total of 4 shelties thur my years. 2 of them lived with me for most of my life. My last poor baby just passed away, he lived the longest at 17 years. I can't get over his death, too me its like losing a child. I can't stand the fact that I don't have anymore shelties in my lived now. It seems I have always had one in my lived till now...;(;(;( His name was Tchaikovsky.....my forever loving baby.....

  • My Sheltie Bailey, she will naw on the cord to our vaccum...:)

  • the black one likes to spin around... and around... and around... and around... and around... and around x google plex

  • They are really cute..I own a sheltie, and ya they do have their moments and peeves just like us.Oreos favorite is helping me sweep the floor,OH MY Its SSSSOOOOO Funny! I guess I will need to record it&Share it with you.

  • Anyone who thinks these dogs are being intentionally stressed out, has probably never owned a Sheltie, nor should such people ever adopt one under 10 years old. This normal-for-Shelties behavior is why we get so many owner surrendered dogs in Sheltie Rescue. If you want a quiet dog, get a senior companion.

  • @DarwinEmmaJones - While I agree we do see a lot of shelties that behave like this, I'd hesitate to call this "normal" behavior. Common maybe, but this isn't what should be considered "normal". I try to only buy from breeders that are screening out such behavior as it really is very hard to live with for most people. My first sheltie was a backyard bred one from a newspaper and had this kind of crazy circling, but being careful who I get dogs from ever since, I've not had to deal with another.

  • I guess my Sheltie, Luke, was a a bit more of a shy fella.

(Passed away December 24, 2009) my best friend since i was a little girl.....Miss you boy

  • Each dog in general has pet peeves. My female Sheltie hates it when you open a pop can, or when you sneeze. My rottie barks at the coffee maker when it beeps, yet doesn't bark at the microwave. Shelties are very smart and clever dogs. it's amazing to see what they prefer to bark at over what seems 'normal' to them! :)

  • that darker one is freaking insane.

  • ahahah they are like dog versions of Tweak from south park

  • Two words: obedience training... They are outta control just like the song says.

  • Very cute! ..Our Sheltie has similar issues! (...but that's we love Shelties!) :P ...Check out my Sheltie Clip on my You Tube page! :)

  • lol I love how the darker one just runs in circles all the time.

  • i have now normalized my Sheltie... thank you for validating his feeilngs

  • i have now normalized my Sheltie... thank you for validating his feeilngs

  • So many things can set a Sheltie off. My one foster would go nuts over the microwave. My first Sheltie would spin like yours.

  • i've got a 7 month old sheltie and he goes crazy with edible bubbles!!! i showed them to him yesterday... loves them :D i have to post vids of him soon he's too cute :]

    ur shelties are pretty too

  • The dog that was spinning at the mail box pretty much is my dog. They're identical. Mine doesn't go nuts at flip flops or stretching but she can't stand when anything happens to pass her line of vision outside our house. She sits there and barks at the window for hours on end. She also goes insane if we tell her to 'go in your house' [cage]. Then she freaks out when we lock it so we can vacuum whatever got dropped or broken or if we have to move something huge into the house.

  • What a shocker, Granny's got a statue of a cat

  • Im gunna go pet my sheltie now :)

  • ok, shelties are hyper but mine doenst get this hyped up when i put on flip flops or do half that stuff

  • Shelties are the #6 smartest dogs in the world. :) I have a sheltie named Penny...she's so cute! She does all of these things.

  • Shelties are the #6 smartest dogs in the world. :) I have a sheltie named Penny...she's so cute!

  • whahaha I have the same things with my shelties respect for you and ypur dogs!

since when did they start spinnin'around?

  • on youtube look up "gus doesnt like kitchen appliances"

my sheltie hates the toaster oven and pots and pans

  • Top ten things that make my sheltie go nuts 1: the toy rope 2: cars passing by 3: someone coming in the door 4: cats 5: waves 6: her bed 7: other dogs 8: me (haha) 9: maybe her birthday 10 wrestling
  • I'll admit... Shelties are full of extreme energy. But this is ridiculous. My sheltie is NOT this bad. All that barking would dry me crazy. My shelite knows not to bark in the house.

  • I'll admit... Shelties are full of extreme energy. But this is ridiculous. My sheltie is NOT this bad.

  • funny haha

  • whoa whoa whoa... where is the lawnmower!

  • What a cute video and beautiful Shelties! Some of those same things drive my normally quiet Sheltie nuts as well!

  • Your Shelties apparently have strong herding instincts. Cute!

  • Beautiful video..thanks for sharing ♥

  • @trishmac2 thanx

  • so cute :) i love shelties, they are so happy all the time!

  • Lol, this looks very familiar. I have 5 shelties and one of them gets set off by my cell phone and when I sneeze! All of mine also really hate the vacuum. I'm glad I'm not the only one with shelties with crazy tendencies.

  • Oh my gosh, that little dark colored one is so excited to walk freely that he cartwheels! Thanks for sharing!

  • You left out something that drives Shelties absolutely bonkers - the lawn mower.

It's said that it has to do with their herding instincts.

My Sheltie used to go off the scale when I would even just bring down the bar to prepare to start the mower - even from inside the house!

Maybe it's a good thing that the Rainbow Bridge doesn't require mowing...

  • That's quite the ferocious cat :)

My sheltie goes crazy over everything too.

    Especially the vacuum.

  • Whew!! I feel tired after watching your crazy dogs, especially the spinner.

  • This is my life....and I have 3 of them!!!

  • I like how the darker sheltie gets really excited and goes around in circles.

  • Shelties really get the most out of life and love any kind of stimulation! #9 is just plain cruel though. I thought he was going to spin himself to death.

  • OMGGGG that is hill how he goes on walks in circles!! SO CUTE. I WANT ONE

  • Wowie, can't do anything in that house without them freaking out! haha :)

  • My sheltie looses it over helium balloons and flushing toilets. He actually tries to push his way into the bathroom with you so that he can watch the toilet flush.

  • bwhahaha i find it funny how they spin mine does that too like in number 1 but scientist dopnt know why

  • Whew! After that I'll bet they needed a nap. :-)

My favorites were flip-flips and stretching. So funny!

  • They bark all the time, crazy dogs you have. x'3

  • taught my sheltie not to bark and chase the vaccum...and he dont spin, but he does go nuts when gets to go for a walk....he likes to pull on the leash..we have to get him a metal leash so he wont chew on the leash.

  • i love this!!! so typical sheltie. i think my shelties go crazy over the same things!! And the people that ask about the twirling, it's called the sheltie twirl! both my dogs do it

  • love the spinning one :) how you get him to spinn so much?

i would like to learn it to my sheltie :) he is 3 years old :)

  • aww, so adorable. Shelties are spinners. My Lexi is 14.5 and Walter just went over the bridge Dec 22. He had cancer and we didn't know. He just stopped eating and we rushed him to the vet and after Xrays and bloodwork, we saw the mass. I still dream about him and miss him dearly. The rest are average of 11 years old except Lacy who is 5. It's so sweet how they each have their own personality. And they each have their own story in rescue.

  • they are so cute. Are they young? My rescues (tennesseeshelties) are older.

  • @TennesseeShelties thanx. the darker one (the spinner), is 11 and the bigger one is 6.

  • Gee...didn't realize dogs liked "Swiffer". =p

  • LMFAO that black one keeps on spinnin ;D

  • jeez i think the barking would make me go crazy though!

  • @morrybyte Oui, ce serait vrai si elles étaient comme ça tout le temps. Mais ils ne sont que de s'amuser. Si nous leur disons de se taire, ils sont très bons.

  • What a fun video.

  • how did you teach your dogs to spin around like that???

  • Hilarious dogs.

They percieve all these foreign objects as an invasion into their otherwise normal lives. Everything needs to be barked at and put in line. They should have been USMC Drill Sergeants.

Love the spinning walk beginning at 5:32.

  • Beautiful home! Lovely dogs

  • @manicmorbidity What a sweet comment, thanks! I love your user name, very original and hysterical.

  • @sniborlrak Thank you very much! ^_^

  • lol, putting on flipflops! I knew a sheltie that barked at raindrops sprinkling on the window. I want to get one when I can handle it, maybe in a year or two.

  • The darker one seems to looooooove spinning! Hilarious!

  • Wow! And I thought my 2 Shelties were crazy! One barks every time the toaster pops and one barks when I sneeze. And he's completely deaf!

  • I have a 9 year old sheltie and he HATES walks, I put the leash on him and he feels punished. We start walking and as we get to the end of the driveway he sits down and acts like you kill me here and I am fine with it, I am not leaving me house. Can anyone help?

  • @agnosticFILOSIFER Try and associate walks with something he likes. Bring his favourite toy and play with him at the gate before you carry on walking or give him treats every so often on the walk. That worked with our dog but I don't know if it will work with yours

  • @p0nigal Actually, April LOVES the "walks" just the way they are. Except for eating, spinning and barking are her favorite things in life. You may have noticed from the vid lol. She is 11 years old and still can't wait each day for her off-leash "walk" which consists of her spinning and barking as in the last scene of the vid.

  • We have the same two Shelties! Cleaning gets ours going, and you can get out the saran wrap, but not tin foil. And don't think about getting a treadmill.

  • i used to have two shelties. mother and son. Arsy and Daisy. they were the best dogs ever and the sweetest dogs ever. when daisy died at the age of 12, Arsy died from depression and wouldnt eat. was just lifeless =(

  • Our sheltie was very docile. Never barked at anything or got worked up about anything other than our returning home, when he would usually run to greet us.

  • I have a sheltie too, and he barks at strange things. Sneezing, covering your face, saran wrap, swiffering, leaving the house... among other things. glad to see i'm not alone!

  • i bet those dogs pass out asleep at night after all that!

  • Poor dogs that are so stressed and have so bad leadership and lack of safety and calmness in their family.

  • @agilitykioskis They aren't stressed at all, that's their way of having fun :/

  • How about arrival of the mailman, and the dreaded skateboarder going past the house? These have been number one and number two of the four Shelties we've had.

  • oh my gosh this was sooooo funny!!!! I love that one that spins in circles!!! and number 7 -ferocious cat- made me laugh so hard! i was expecting a real and mean cat, and it was wooden hahahahahaha xD

  • Mine spins around alot whenever I drive home on the balcony. Scratched up some wood floors but it makes me smile!

  • Wow, my sheltie was much more timid (he's super old so he's not much of anything anymore :( ) He used to be frightened by the vacuum, but he would get SUPER hyper like your dogs when I would do play boxing with my dad haha!

  • Those are two happy dogs!!

  • The spinning one (april?) must be really fun to walk :)) I would love to take a walk wif her! You have 2 adorable shelties!

  • Happy dogs =)

  • This is absolutely so true. My shelties do all of these things. Your shelties are beautiful, what are their names?I have several also.

  • Thanks for the kind comments. The "spinner" is April and the other one is Taffy
