More proof about how "The Simpsons" hasn't been worth watching in years. In the golden age, the show inserted all kinds of cutting jokes that were both clever and funny. It's gotten so ham-fisted, clumsy and just not funny that it's a waste of space on the air waves. (And keep in mind that I was a die-hard "Simpsons" fan who goes all the way back to Tracy Ullman's show.)
