I'm trying to utilize the accelerate skill, but I don't know whether to spam my arte buttons or to get exact timing, particularly using havok strike (burning havok, whatever) after sword rain alpha.
So, I guess my question is do you spam the arte button until it works or do you have to look at frame data to get exact timing?
@yoshi12335 IIRC when you are selecting the place for the arte press 1 and there you can set artes for the "shortcuts", is easier to just edit your slots while you fight though
@yoshi12335 Already told you, and I don´t know how you can´t find out if the game even tells you how to, go into a random battle, go into the artes menu, PRESS 1 (it even says "shortcut setting") and there you can fill the spots, remember that you can set other people artes for the shortcuts too (so you don´t have to go into the menu and order them to do something always)

Sorry I should have been more specific. In the lightning temple, in the room with the yellow blocks, the apparatus there drops giant chimeras. They drop randomly so you have to have some patience. Just activate the apparatus (you don't have to rearrange the blocks in any order) and monsters will fall from the sky. (Just like in ToS) If you use Marta's roaring phoenix on the giant Chimera, you'll see someone like "Stole Philosopher's Stone" on top. It works like Colette's Item Thief.
Honestly, I haven't checked. But if the smaller chimera's didn't drop any in other places, I don't think they would at the ranch. However, it doesn't hurt to try.

If you are in second playthough, there is an even easier way. By chapter 8, you have access to the secret dungeon Gladshiem. Use Roaring Phoenix on the Giganto versions of normal monsters such as ghosts and bats to steal Philosopher Stones from them. They are the Archdemons enemies on every floor. As a bonus, you get extra items and they are always there.
u can equip 4 by using the b button. you can also add shortcuts by using the d pad on top of ur remote. u can also put 4 more shortcuts by swinging ur remote around

1 question, are u using semi-auto or manual? Cause i can't seem to connect blade fury to converging fury( blade fury knocks the enemy out of my arcane arte's range) And is it easier to combo with him aerial-ly or on the ground

I know the monster to get pure silver but it will never drop..., the monster that drops it is monster sword thing. and Only place I can find one is in Temple of Darkness... any other places I can get Pure Silver?

While checking the wikipedia page for ToS2, I also learned that the voice actor who voiced Yuri Lowell in ToV is voicing Regal... the same person who voiced Yeager is voicing Lloyd.

Accelerate just plain old decreases lag after artes. So yeah, just mash the button.
