They should never have split up,but just kept going the way a group like The MJQ did,because the were/are the equal of any of the greatest jazz groups you could name.Their importance can never be understated.

i've to say that duck dunn has always been one of my favourites ones.
but in the last 5-10 years he has lost almost completely the beautiful feelings that his fingers were able to produce.
i'm very sorry for this but at the moment he can't play. great duck. you've done the history of electric bass.

Duck Dunn was never really a soloist but he's still cool. Cropper makes every note SAY something, unlike a lotta guitarists.
