i heard rumors about other hidden scenes with aerith after she is dead (if you hack the game, and put her on your party after her death - which IS possible) in some scenes she WILL talk and be there like she wasn't dead, maybe because it was to she die later in the game
Poor Tifa she doesn't know that cloud is dead. That the real cloud is actually somewhere rotting away, and who she's talking too is nothing more than a look alike.
I was just stating that, when you really think about it it's kinda sad that tifa throwing all of her emotion and talk of the past with cloud to a clone. That the person you play as isn't really cloud. So when she talk to cloud about the past and how they were and shit, that cloud might remember it but was never there because he's a clone.
Just correct me if im wrong, for what i could remember cloud die and your a clone.
I got the last part there between the slums people and cloud on my ps1 using the save anywhere code. saved in the bar (the night after settling with Barret and Tifa)
and when I reloaded I was behind barret. its good so many know about this scene, guess i was a fool to think otherwise, the games almost 15 years old.
I played the pal version of Spain and this was in there. I remember almost she asking if seph was alive and saying if cloud remember and suddenly barret stopping the dialoge.
I'm not sure what version you have that you had to use GS to get this part. Every time I play it, I get it. This is part of the plot and has always been there.
i saw this on my american version >.> im pretty sure it depends on how fast you get to the bar after getting off the train or if you talk to marlene or give her the flower or not. i cant remember which i did cuz i would always try doing dif things on every playthough to look for hidden text n stuff.
everyone who says that this IS normal is an idiot. I just started playing this game again for the first time in a few years, just recently got to this part and you CANNOT leave the bar. you CANT. this IS an scene that wasnt able to be seen without codes. Thanks for the video, its cool to know that cloud was really after seph this early in the game, and its also cool to know that tifa knows that cloud knows about the reactor incident. Good stuff.
Uhmm.. Sorry, but count me as a vote for "this isn't rare, I've seen it every time I play." And I've beaten the game 5 times, so I remember what I saw.
ok this definitely wasnt in my version of the PS1 FF VII, The first bit was but you could never leave the bar hhmm interesting Soo Cloud knew what he was suppose/had to do rather than just randomly go through a series of random events !!

@Sarentor You ever seen the Barret/Cloud date scene?
Barret: "Hey, you don't mean...Marlene? NO WAY! Forget it! There ain't no way I'm lettin' a wacko like you anywhere near my little Marlene! She's my baby. My prized possession."
i know what tifa mean when he say "cloud know what happen"
tifa and cloud have a scene there which they have sex but was replaced with a toned down version by Kitase in which a risqué line is followed by a fade to black.

Cloud was bad ass and then they emod him in advent children. Seems like the only time he was satisfied was when he had the chance to kill Sephiroth. Makes you wonder if he is psycho.
I'm playing the game on PC, I think the childhood memory conversation part is in the game, just not in this town so early in the game, but in Nibelheim (not sure). The last part of scolding of the kids is not in my game.
The first few boxes of text, about 3 or 4, are in the game, after that, the WHOLE scene and text IS new......... I have this on PS1 and PSN download...... And it doesnt include this........
i'm glad the dialogue was left out if the translation in the description is correct. cloud wasn't going after sephiroth until later.. the game develops into that
From what I remember, some of this conversation takes place in the bar. But as for it being outside, nope, I've never seen them talking outside 7th Heaven.
@SuperBlackface22 You smart genius, this scene is not in FFVII. The only early Cloud/Tifa flashback the one that even mentions Sephiroth is just Cloud expressing his fanboyism towards him.
The dialogue seems incredibly familier. Only a little bit of the dialogue seems odd, but then I haven't played this game in a long while. And as so many others beleive they have seen this scene in their games too I am going to have to presume that I have too. It's WAY too familier. 2) So the dialog is in the Japanese version. Could it be possible that this scene actually is still present in that version?
3) Has anyone ever attempted a mod to put the deleted scenes back in?
@Metallion98 The name Sephiroth doesn't come up until the Shinra HQ events right? Kalm scene was shortly after, he explains why he needs to settle the score with Sephiroth.
@BrutalAl dude you just edited the text it is there, this isn't hidden, either that you could be you got a copy of the game that was like has a glitch like the aeris/aerith glitch of the ps1 release
I agree that this scene is not in the final product. I've owned both the black label and green label releases, and I'd certainly remember this scene, as it dramatically lessens the revelation of Cloud's story told at Kalim.
I have one question though, and I guess this may be normal. On different playthroughs at the underground scene in 7th Heaven,I've seen Barrett deck Biggs in one playthrough, and Wedge in another. I forget which, but one of these two I've only seen one time. What's the trigger?
What console was this played on? cus i remember this scene distinctively on the ps one with my american original ff7s i got the first day it came out. looks like urs is a glithch
I've been debating on whether to buy this on the PSN store...Of course we all know its one of the longest games story-wise so I'm not sure if I can stay entertained enough to play through the whole story. Especially, since I've played through the sequels, prequels and watched AC, I'm wondering if this game would look mediocre in the eyes of someone like me who hasn't really played a classic game ever...advice???
i cant only speak from personal experience, this is the 2nd video game ive ever played, my brother got me into video games a few years back, he first game me kindgom hearts (lol i liked the graphics and how fun it was) i started playing this and i was dreading it when i saw the graphics, but i forced myself because he was so enthusiastic about it. How about you stop having a go at everyone who tells you you're wrong? because you are. I'm on this scene right now -.-" on my PS1 FFVII. it's not hidden at all. It's right there. So stop whining at these people. you're wrong, get over it.
@TheRockGenerationUK stop being a douche monkey. i played on ps1 also and i remember this scene and its dialogue, i think people are playing a different port of it on a different console and its either a glitch or was left out by accident during porting; but it was definitely there on the ps1
barret does, but only if you talk to him during a certain scene when you first come to tifa's bar. once the scene is done, he'll just say 'go on ahead' and let you through. and the scene is pretyy short, so if you wanna see barret saying that you have talk to him before the ned of the scene. (the scene in question involves barret scaring everyone out of the pub and then going to stand guard. tifa comes out and then goes back in.)
Like BrutalAI says, anyone who insists they've seen this scene in a normal playthrough has a bad eye for detail or is lying. The regular scene plays out entirely inside the bar, Sephiroth is only mentioned in the flashback (which isn't shown here), and the burning of Nibelheim isn't hinted at. You also aren't confronted by Johnny and his buddies until the next day, and the dialogue is shorter and much different. Also, the PSP version is an emulated version of the original game. No differences.
@LegendaryLunchbox I won't lie. I have seen this scene a hundred times over. It was in the game. I played it on my emulator, just to check and be certain. I can even give you a screen shot of it if you like. Sorry bud, but the simple fact of the matter is, you're wrong.
@MichaelLougas Funny, "bud," but I've played FFVII plenty of times over the years - emulated and otherwise - and you're just as sorely mistaken as the rest of the people here who have claimed to see the scene. It's not viewable in the game by normal means. I can only surmise that you're an idiot or trolling. Either way, bugger off.
@LegendaryLunchbox How asinine. I've played this game a hundred times over, and like I said. I can provide you with a screen shot of it if you like. I have empirical evidence of this scene's existence in game play. Cheer up little man, I'm sure you could easier lie to someone else.
@MichaelLougas Whatever, dude. It's a scene in a video game and I don't care enough to get embroiled in a pointless over something this trivial. Believe what you want.
@MichaelLougas Whatever, dude. It's a scene in a video game and I don't care enough to get embroiled in a pointless series of "no u" arguments over something this trivial. Believe what you want.
@LegendaryLunchbox Astoundingly pathetic. Empirical evidence is empirical evidence. You have the myopia of a religious man. Enlightening you has as much purpose as explaining the perception of the dimensions to a goldfish. Simply pathetic.
I can't believe im sitting here watching FF7 videos.. im 20 fucking years old.. omfg. I love ff7 but damn... time for me to put it in the box for 10 years... maybe a girlfriend??
@loser3020 Wow you sound liek your life was fucke d up man im 23 and played it again recently and it is still the best fucking rpg and i wuld buy a PS3 only for the remake if they make one
@loser3020 rofl i'm 28, married with 1 kid and a baby girl on its way, and I still play FF7 at least once a year. this game rocks so much that the passion will never fade
@brucekentallen i meant the PC "version" of ff7 the one you are playing is the "PSX" version on a emulator i think there are some little mods for psx youtube is a good place to look :)
Have you, or anyone else, seen something around this point in the game, I think it may be when Cloud first arrives at the bar, standing outside, Tifa comes out I believe and says something to Cloud that makes it sound like they had a child together. This happened I think the very first time I played the game through, my sister saw it too while I was playing, but I haven't seen in since and I've played the game through multiple time. saw this video and thought it was it, but wasn't :(
@Johnsl1983 I started new games several times just to get to this point to see if it would show that scene it again, but never saw it after that first time.
@14Kristian41 I actually found it shortly after I looked at this video.. IT's on this video here on youtube called "Final Fantasy VII - Walkthrough Part 2",
Barret says it as :58 into the video. So check it out if you haven't seen it, this is what I saw :)
@14Kristian41 That seems to be the only explanation, it's just confused the hell out of me for the longest time thinking they're trying to tell you something by that, thanks though :)
seems so, im guessing SE did not want the player to know about Sephiroth and any clues about what happened in Nibelheim so soon in the story.
Also a big tip off of how Tifa was reacting to cloud remembering was more hectic in this scene then usual to the player - Wouldn't see this reaction up until the later on in the game.
@BrutalAl thxs for the upload i never knew such a scene existed. :)
sothat's what happens when you click sorry, most of that text was used in the how can you say that option and you get a full movie seen when you pick it, ummm dude you know ultima edition is a hacked and pirated version of ff7 right?
i heard rumors about other hidden scenes with aerith after she is dead (if you hack the game, and put her on your party after her death - which IS possible) in some scenes she WILL talk and be there like she wasn't dead, maybe because it was to she die later in the game

How about you stop having a go at everyone who tells you you're wrong? because you are. I'm on this scene right now -.-" on my PS1 FFVII. it's not hidden at all. It's right there. So stop whining at these people. you're wrong, get over it.
TheRockGenerationUK 1 year ago
@TheRockGenerationUK stop being a douche monkey. i played on ps1 also and i remember this scene and its dialogue, i think people are playing a different port of it on a different console and its either a glitch or was left out by accident during porting; but it was definitely there on the ps1

who exactly called Tifa :"his little baby"??? i haven't play the game, i only see the movies......
Sylvia25100 1 year ago
@Sylvia25100
barret does, but only if you talk to him during a certain scene when you first come to tifa's bar. once the scene is done, he'll just say 'go on ahead' and let you through. and the scene is pretyy short, so if you wanna see barret saying that you have talk to him before the ned of the scene. (the scene in question involves barret scaring everyone out of the pub and then going to stand guard. tifa comes out and then goes back in.)
Xsilence87 1 year ago
i don't like this
i'm like the way that "the truth" come to light in kalm and in the dungeons of nibelheim
rockdrigoXXIII 1 year ago
I also have the original PS FFVII game and your memory is faulty. That scene is most definitely in... LOL kidding. Nice job.

ahhh I see why they changed it...too much info! but very cool, thanks for sharing!

If Square makes a remake, it should have all these deleted scenes put back in. Or maybe an 'uncut' mode that has them all.

Fail, Cloud didnt remember what happened to sephiroth until he saw him again.
Tifa didnt remember what happened when she got owned in the reactor.
Pretty much are uncomplete boxes for a scene but i dont believe what your writing is correct. Thanks for finding this gameshark though :)
mrlistersir007 1 year ago
I think I remember this dialogue back from the flashback where Cloud and Tifa were kids. That's what's different about it.
MZD79 1 year ago
Like BrutalAI says, anyone who insists they've seen this scene in a normal playthrough has a bad eye for detail or is lying. The regular scene plays out entirely inside the bar, Sephiroth is only mentioned in the flashback (which isn't shown here), and the burning of Nibelheim isn't hinted at. You also aren't confronted by Johnny and his buddies until the next day, and the dialogue is shorter and much different. Also, the PSP version is an emulated version of the original game. No differences.

@LegendaryLunchbox And let this be a lesson to the rest of you who dare challenge the inner workings of something called "LOGIC."
thephoenixforce 1 year ago
@LegendaryLunchbox I won't lie. I have seen this scene a hundred times over. It was in the game. I played it on my emulator, just to check and be certain. I can even give you a screen shot of it if you like. Sorry bud, but the simple fact of the matter is, you're wrong.
MichaelLougas 11 months ago
@MichaelLougas Funny, "bud," but I've played FFVII plenty of times over the years - emulated and otherwise - and you're just as sorely mistaken as the rest of the people here who have claimed to see the scene. It's not viewable in the game by normal means. I can only surmise that you're an idiot or trolling. Either way, bugger off.
LegendaryLunchbox 11 months ago
@LegendaryLunchbox How asinine. I've played this game a hundred times over, and like I said. I can provide you with a screen shot of it if you like. I have empirical evidence of this scene's existence in game play. Cheer up little man, I'm sure you could easier lie to someone else.
MichaelLougas 11 months ago

Have you, or anyone else, seen something around this point in the game, I think it may be when Cloud first arrives at the bar, standing outside, Tifa comes out I believe and says something to Cloud that makes it sound like they had a child together. This happened I think the very first time I played the game through, my sister saw it too while I was playing, but I haven't seen in since and I've played the game through multiple time. saw this video and thought it was it, but wasn't :(
Johnsl1983 1 year ago
@Johnsl1983 I started new games several times just to get to this point to see if it would show that scene it again, but never saw it after that first time.
Johnsl1983 1 year ago
@Johnsl1983 Well.. I'm guessing you just misread what the dialogue was when you first played it
14Kristian41 1 year ago
@14Kristian41 I actually found it shortly after I looked at this video.. IT's on this video here on youtube called "Final Fantasy VII - Walkthrough Part 2",
Barret says it as :58 into the video. So check it out if you haven't seen it, this is what I saw :)
Johnsl1983 1 year ago
@Johnsl1983 Barret was calling "Tifa" Cloud's little baby.. i think :P
14Kristian41 1 year ago
@14Kristian41 That seems to be the only explanation, it's just confused the hell out of me for the longest time thinking they're trying to tell you something by that, thanks though :)
Johnsl1983 1 year ago
@taylord040
seems so, im guessing SE did not want the player to know about Sephiroth and any clues about what happened in Nibelheim so soon in the story.
Also a big tip off of how Tifa was reacting to cloud remembering was more hectic in this scene then usual to the player - Wouldn't see this reaction up until the later on in the game.
@BrutalAl thxs for the upload i never knew such a scene existed. :)
KantoriX 1 year ago
sothat's what happens when you click sorry, most of that text was used in the how can you say that option and you get a full movie seen when you pick it, ummm dude you know ultima edition is a hacked and pirated version of ff7 right?
