  • Am I the only one who can't help but laugh when the thick one says "I WAS pretty"???

  • @thehappyphantom84 ...probably.

  • Completely mad. There are NO overweight gypsies.

  • the harmonies during the chorus are a little off

  • the girl in the red (after sheila) was one of the best I have ever seen

  • honestlyy, i think thety did a great jobb!

  • Out of the three girls i find Bebe's voice to be the more attractive and well controlled voice.. Sheila's so much...Having played Maggie before, i and it being my favourite role, i have high standards , so this girl really doesn't cut it for me, her vibrato was all over the place, she couldn't hit the high notes very well and her attempt was very cracky. Overall Bebe was the best one out of the three.

  • I saw all three at Olive garden the night after this performance

  • yeahh was a little bit off on the harmonies but otherwise it was very helpful for me, cause i'm playing the part of Bebe in my group's production in a week. :) good effort.

  • wow - this is just terrible...talk about ruining a great piece of theatre - where was this...Des Moines?

  • ok the girl who plays bebe needs to stop trying to sound like a pop star and trying to riff.. none of you'revoices are srong and you all fucked up a simple harmony.

  • they butchered that song!!

  • i know its maggie and bebe in this song but who is the third girl?

  • @RentHead711 sheila :)

  • these girls have flabby thighs

  • r u serious for curvy girls their thighs look pretty nice

  • love it<3 beautifully song

  • Jellicle- I know. I thought it was too busy!

  • I was Bebe! in performance of this! [: Whomever Bebe is sounds amazing!

  • COOL!

  • Vocally brilliant,

    blocking not so much.

    Good job : )

  • this song isn't suppossed to have much blocking..

  • Really? they did a good job actually of basically using the iconic original Bennett staging so not sure which version you mean.

  • wow, maggie was fantastic!

  • I love your voice! It suits this piece perfectly, and it's rare to find singers that keep clarity of words even in their high registers.

  • I'm doing this show in the fall (playing Maggie) so I've been watching a lot of versions of this song and Ihave to say you're my favourite non-professional Bebe so far. You're the only performer who's got the emotion just right. The look on your face on "if not to her...well then to me" gave me shivers. Excellent job.

  • omg Amy I didnt know you were so talented. Gosh!

  • That was REALLY good =]

  • I didn't mind this performance.

  • I don't want to get involved, but this fight is a bit petty, why don't you just agree that someone's poor physique doesn't apply to your opinions of these girls singing, they clearly aren't professional, but it is always good to seek the best in somebody and i myself being a tone deaf monkey think they did well but i prefer the pro version

  • You guys are being ridiculous. They did good. They aren't broadway performers. Give em a break guys :D

  • Bored enough that you just HAD to make a reply? If you're really bored, then this post will just go unanswered by you. Well, see.

  • quite average singing and girls who couldn't really pass as dancers...

  • Was this the Ain't Misbehavin' gall back??

  • ... none of these girls are fat.

  • These women are living their dream and doing their thing. There's one pig here....and it's YOU!

    Grow up. *yawn*

  • *yawn*

Hmmm...fat can be temporary. Unfortunately for you, being an asshole is forever!

Actually, taste is subjective. Being a dickhead, on the other hand, is not. Thank you providing irrefutable evidence. Thank you for being a fine example of being "that guy."

These women are to be commended for being brave enough to lead their lives as they see fit, regardless of whatever commentary might be made about their bodies.

And, no, Ass, I'm not fat. But you ARE stupid. Thanks for the laughs!

  • Brent,

Really, why all the venom? Did I hurt your teeny little feelings? Sorry that no one told you is was impolite to name call. Maybe your Mom was busy tending to other things - like apologizing to anyone who would listen about the placenta she was left to raise. Poor lady. My condolences go to her. Probably wishes to this day that she had given birth to a son... it's just sad.

Ohhhh, but look - you were able to count up to SIX. Good.For.You. (using small words so you can keep up!)

  • BTW, if you'll scroll down to MJHxoxo, you'll see an example of someone who was able to express that he was underwhelmed by this posting, yet able to also remain civil. Take lessons. I wasn't impinging upon your "rights" to post your opinions. Just know that they do not exist in a vacuum.

Lastly, re-read your last sentence. Your childlike shrillness oozes with every misspelled, incorrectly punctuated thought you attempted. Slowing down and gathering your thoughts will make it clearer. LOL

  • Nice job Maggie!

    Woo hoo!

  • ¡Bravo!

  • Harmony needs a little work. Way to go, Maggie! You'd make Kay Cole (the original Maggie on Broadway) proud!!!

  • Maggie, you belted the number better than most Broadway casts than I have seen!

  • You three girls did a terrific job on this number...exceptionally good...especially notable was "Maggie", your high E was so strong, good for you...really enjoyed your rendition from both a musical and staging pov..

  • WOW! that was amazing! this would be such a difficult musical to cast!

  • wow u are all really good!!!

  • work on ur voices you sound like your not comfortable belting, or singing high, try finding a good middle

  • i think you were good your solo was so much like bebe

  • hey, i'm sing as bebe too! you sound good.

the camera angle is iffy (home video(?)) but the sound is good.

  • Yes! Maggie actually belted the high E! Yay! XD

  • Great staging, especially having the dancers revealed by slow lights, nice casting, lame direction & great orchestra.

  • Not bad. :)

    Harmonies are iffy though.

  • You're Beautiful!!

  • am I listening to the same thing? The pitch on the harmonies is terrible......yikes.

  • i do agree with that actually. too late to fix unfortunately haha.

  • @amiNuse NO! You guys were great:) That person is just jealous and annoying! I'm being honest I loved the acting and singing! This is one of my favs:)

  • the harmonies are hard. I also struggle with the 'do do dodo' bit, personaly.

my favorite bit (in general )is the 'up a steep..., to a voice...' bit :)

  • WOWOWOWOW. I loved it! :)

    Nice job you guys! :D

  • Size makes makes no difference look at Elaine Stritch!

  • Great job!

  • you guys are seriously amazing. thanks!

  • Bah, you can be ANY size that you want to and dance, and it'll still look great! More power to you, you sounded great!

  • that was great!

  • maggie's high note was great! reminded me of kay cole quite a bit!

  • watch the pitch...especially on the harmonies.

  • I was bebe in acl this past summer also!

    I can't believe bennie-whatever made that comment.

first of all, you shouldn't think that weighing whatever you weigh means you can't play a dancer. Have you ever seen Hairspray? Don't worry, I'm not saying you have the same appearance as tracey turnblad, but she is a phenominal dancer. when you sing your last solo line ("so beautiful...") you had so much passion in your voice, it was beautiful.

  • oh lol, ok thanks. :/ haha

  • fuck you... theyre wicked good, who are yu to say anything

  • I think she's wonderful, and the fact that she's a little fleshy gives plausibility to the character. There's nothing wrong with having curves, jackass.
