Dam. i had to dig up my old computer from my closet. Windows 95. 96mb RAM intel pentium 2 processor, nvidia tnt videocard. :D Still faster startup than my Windows XP sp3. amd athlon x2 4850+ nvidia geforce 9800gtx. 4 gb ram. :D Gotta love old computers !

I know, but W95 had a quicker load time XD I'm kidding, 11 years of difference are a lot of time, tech improves but some problems remain :) Anyway, W7 is great. Installation complete on a Dell D610 with 1 GB of RAM an 2 ghz processore. It's quicker that xp, using many apps.

It dependes on what computer you have. Like ram,HDD memory,and the speed of the CPU. Problay if you have a computer with 200 MB of ram,a cup that runs at 567MHz and a 10 GB HDD, Maby windows 98 and SE wont seem as suckusish. I`ve used it before and it works better than the NT based vista.

I bought an old PC at a sale for $10 last year, because I wanted to learn how to upgrade PCs, and it runs Win95...

I remember the "It is now safe to turn off your computer" from back when I was about 5 years old! We had Win95s at school.... I used to sit at the computer room every lunchtime and either play games, or watch the 'Maze' screensaver!

What a nice surprise it was to see that again when I turned on my new (old) PC! :D

That is the same wallpaper that my grandma used to have on her old Windows 98 (First Edition) computer. But I upgraded it to XP and lost all of the old files and programs. Windows 98 couldn't write to the CD. I could have fixed it, but I was too lazy. I would have to take it home and crap. So I lost stuff me and my cousins made in Paintbrush (Old Paint) in 2004. :-(
