There are very few bands who's cd's I will buy in a store anymore outside of DMB. There SO GREAT, I've been to 2 of there shows & I HOPE to go to MANY MORE, I LOVE this band & what they've brought to music, this is the

1st song that REALLY got me interested in DMB & it still remains my fav. by them today!

it has nothing to do with his smoking. it has to do with the fact that until now, they have had a keyboard player and Dave's guitar playing has been less dominant. he still solos from time to time, you just can't hear it as well. look for it this summer, I wouldn't be surprised if you find it.

yeah i know dave doesnt have to smoke to do anything. but i like to think he does cool things when he blazes too. i know i was surprised when i found out b. taylor is leaving, they've had him forever. i cant wait to hear what they play this summer, theres so much talking going around that they're going back to some older songs (ie. not stand up!) i hope i hear minarets or #40. or blue water!!

is that why he does less solos now, cuz of the keyboard player? i didnt want him to ever leave but if it cuts off his "not so good solos" (watchtower) then i bet it will lead to cooler stuff this summer. cuz other than when he solos on some stuff i never hear him playing.

about smoking, i dont really care how dave came up with this solo but i want that sort of jamming to happen again!

its a gibson chet atkins sst...discontinued in 2006 :(

They also came in natural. Dave had an older natural one with a soundhole, as well as the black one without it.

OMG who posted this, it's awesome. Dave at his f'n best. I remember watching old dmb stuff like this on my uncle's satellite dish where they showed rare concert footage of up and coming groups etc...and I always liked DMB then and still do. Classic shit, good god, 'DMB' you drive me crazy but crazy is allright...I just like saying that.

I love seeing the old school DMB. And as good as they were here...they are so much better now. Dave has learned to play more with his voice and the band's connective vibe is even strong after all those years playing together. Get a load of boyd's Hair...sooo much better now. *grin* And yeah...Dave does look like Tom Hanks here. *grins*
