AR's just cost you a ton in ammo.... these 9mm 40 cal and 45 ACP carbines are just as fun to shoot and can do more of it due to the fact the ammo is way cheaper!!!! And the 45 ACP is a bruiser within 100 yards!!!!

@Jeff3230  You can get cheap .223 (tula etc) for about $.20 per round. Not much different than pistol ammo. That said I would still like a carbine like the Kel Tek sub 2000.
