they know the risks they just dont want to pay lots of cash for a track because you know not everyone has the fucking money. stupid fucks. they know what they are doing they know the risks they know the road they know how to talk to each other while riding. so everyone hating on this video can go fuck themselves because i see you fucks that are hating are too big of a coward to ride like this. "Some people are so afraid to die that they never begin to live."
Do yourself a favor and interpret what I'm about to say as constructive criticism: From the obvious things like your lines, and throttle control, that many have already pointed out - to the fact that your entry/exit points, as well as shifts are an absolute disaster, I can safely assume that you are riding above the limits of your abilities. Yes, it's a rush - but doing it on questionable roads, away from paramedics and urgent help in case you crash is plain stupid.
sick riding man. I never seem to let myself get that low for worries of gravel. hit it once, didnt end up crashing thankfully, and now im really cautious. I hope to get to the point where i can dodge it while im down like that but not yet. ;) one day I'll be that good!
I'm not a racer but I ride the "Crest" about 275 days/year. Almost every weekend between March and December. The rider with the camera rig does pretty much everything that you are not supposed to. On and off throttle in turns? Are you kiddin's me? Who taught you that? At least 11 times went over the yellow line, consistently taking the wrong lines in turns, late lean, early on the gas... Look at minute 2:33, he overtakes his buddy and take a 80 m/hr turn with what it looks like 40??? Tsk..Tsk..
Nice riding and cornering Palexon... clearly your cautious when you see other motorist...it evident in this video as well as in Pt 1 & Pt. 2... My hats off to you two...GREAT riders... I wish I could pace and ride like you guys. KUDOS!!!
I DO ride. At almost 30 years & over 300,000 miles: my opinion DOES count. If you have such mad skills buy some track time like real riders. I Imagine no truly skilled rider in their right mind would let you near them on a track, however: neither of you can hold you line worth shyte. I don't give a f*@% if you kill yourselves, the crest would be safer without you, it's the responsible rider like Jacob you take with you that I care about. "Cowards on the track, squids on the road."
ggmann77 is right. My wife and daughter were on the bus that was first on the scene and my wife held the guy that did survive for over an hour and a half until the paramedics got him out.
The one clown that was racing crossed over and hit the other motorcyclist head on.
It is one thing to kill yourself, but when you take others with you, you are really lame!
Looks like fun but stupid and dangerous. I saw the aftermath of a motorcycle accident on angeles crest today. We stopped because my friend is a paramedic. One guy had both legs broken and was screaming in pain the other guy was laying on his back motionless. The force of his crash knocked both his shoes and one sock off and he was dead.
Nice vids, I watched all 3 and added them to my favorites. It looks like the 3rd section of road could use some fresh pavement. You guys are hauling for sure but it looks like the guy in front is getting crossed up a bit (sliding his lower body to the inside of the turn but not his upper body). The camera angle may make it look worse than it is. I'm not throwing stones (my form is far from perfect) just a little constructive advice. Thanks for the great vids and stay safe!
Along with your Parts 1 & 2, very cool video. The other Angeles Crest Videos I see are speeded up cruising, but you guys look really fast. A little over 20 minutes from La Canada to Newcomb Ranch with slow traffic in the way is pretty quick. Nice!

My 10 yr old nephew died on this road with his dad riding the motorcycle. His dad survived. This road is known as the Devils Tail.

I think you are thinking of dragons tail and that isn't this road.

Im sure there are plenty of names that people call it. I know it as the Devils tail. Angeles Crest Highway in L.A. aka La Cresenta adj.

Actually the rider that was leading is an excellent rider and he does take his skills to the track.
