I absolutely love Shinsuke, and I like the new additions to his moveset, but I wish he'd do the landslide more often. Oh, and bro needs a new haircut, bad.

Nakamura sucks. He's a wannabe MMA guy posing as a wrestler and his knee strikes are lame. Kojima wrestled the best in this year's G1, followed closely by Anderson and Naito. Any of those three would've been more deserving.
@babyface76 Nakamura has always represented New Japan, not MMA. He will have had many opportunities to jump ship during New Japan's rough period but didn't. Even as a rookie, Nakamura had 'it' and the crowd loved him. I fail to see how his knees are lame. Just because he doesn't throw out lariats and chops everywhere, that doesnt mean he's a bad wrestler. His knees are unique and he had an awesome G1 this year. His new cockyness is incredibly over and the fans want to see him beat Tanahashi.
@aspey99 I know he never left NJPW and that's admirable, but I just never cared for his in-ring style and general lack of charisma. I understand he's over and he gets pushed to the max because it's good for business. I get all that. I just don't have to like it. I think guys like Naito, Goto and even Kojima would make thinkgs a whole lot more interesting in the main event scene. The knee strikes are unique to him I suppose, but I just think they look lame.
@babyface76 Goto is pushed, he's getting a slow push that will probs end with him vs. Nakamura at WK. Naito is being pushed slowly too with this G1, but you have to realise he's been around a comparatively short amount of time. Pushes take longer in Japan. Naito will undoubtedly be maineventing in a few years. Kojima was the only outsider to ever win the G1 last year and became IWGP Champion, so he's been pushed. I think Shinsuke has a lot of charisma if you look at the match against Inoue.
@aspey99 Goto can't main event WK not this year he's just not that over, I think WK will be Nakamura vs Akiyama, I think Goto and Tanahashi will challenge for the IWGP tags again, Naito will probably be fed to Go in a GHC title match to make it an even trade for Akiyama jobbing to Shinsuke
@minorusan01 That's to elevate Tonga, Goto is in the mentor position. That was clear last year and very obvious on the NEVER show Tonga faced Goto. NJPW sees a lot of potential in Tonga, obviously.
Anyway, Goto is over. The fans are onboard with his plight of never quite being able to pull it off. I can't say whether he'll win the title at this point but to say he's not "that over" is crazy. Did you hear the crowd when he pinned Shinsuke in the G1?
@princesstamika first of all when he pinned shinsuke it was korakuen, korakuen always boos the champions or the higher ranked wrestler it's like the ECW arena of japan, Did you watch the final? they cheered immensely when Strongman defeated Goto. I'm not going to say he's not over AT all but he's not a big draw and he will not main event WK until that changes. Now he's going after a midcard title that an outsider holds and he's probably not going to win either.
@princesstamika and you can't say the fans are onboard with his plight....njpw fans are like wwe fans and tanahashi is cena and nakamura is orton and most of japan goes to see them. maybe the 1000 geeks who go to korakuen shows may be on board with goto but they will turn on him the second he finally gets his chance. Back to Tama Tonga, they like what he can do but they know he's not going to be there forever, he's clearly more talented than King Fale yet Fale gets more to do.Tonga isn't NJPWbtw
@princesstamika the fact that Goto is teaming with Tonga says they don't have anything to do with Goto except rehashing old feuds, jobbing to outsiders and filling the midcard
@princesstamika you answered your own question he's being tested, meaning he's not ready yet....look i like goto but all i'm saying is he's not over enough to main event wk, all of his challenges were against tana or shinsuke and the one vs muto that in itself shows u he can't draw on his own...not yet anyways that's all
@minorusan01 That's not what test run means. It means continually working together to gauge how the crowd responds and how to work together. Which means when he wins, he'll probably win from Shinskay.
@princesstamika all I'm saying is Goto won't main event this years WK last I checked Shinsuke isn't the champion and lost twice already to the current champion therefore Goto won't be main eventing WK period
@babyface76 Again though, that's your opinion, everyone has different wrestling taste. On the Naito vs. Tanahashi match, that is something fans would definitely like to see, and could very well happen at WK. Naito is simply awesome.
@babyface76 I don't agree with Nakamura sucking but the 3 you named were awesome in the G1, however only Nakamura & Tanahashi can get good numbers for WK so one of them had to be champion by that time and since it was Tanahashi last year I'm guessing it's Nakamura's turn, Naito is automatically elevated by being in the final too he should get a rematch for the IWGP which would make him a title contender something he's never been so I don't hate the decision for Nakamura to win
@minorusan01 I disagree I think Naito vs Tanahashi is something fans would like to see. Maybe Naito's build needs to continue leading up to WK, but I just think we've all seen Nakamura in the top spot for way to long. To me he's like the Japanese John Cena. I hate his in-ring style and the fact that NJPW shoves him and Tanahashi down everyone's throat.
@babyface76 are you referring to american/english speaking fans? japanese fans tend value rank and achievements over talent when it comes to wrestling. For example NOAH..nuff said. Like I said either Nakamura or Tana have to main event the dome, Goto, Makabe, Nagata & Naito can't do it. I hope Goto is on his way to that level but it doesn't look like it at this moment. And you may like Daniel Bryan more than Cena but if Bryan main evented WM would people come? or just wrestling fans?...
@babyface76 bro, Shinsuke's no poser, he's won all his 5 matches in the MMA circuit and brought back Strong Style to NJPW. He's a cockier/dickish/heelish version of Inoki. But I agree with those 3 you mentioned, especially Anderson, he's improved a lot.
I was at the last one and the one where mvp got choked out by minoru Suzuki going to all together but damn they killed each other but damn u never let me down watching your vids . 10 out of 10
