It was not the 80s, I remember when this show first came on in 1990, and they mention games like NeoGeo, Bart Simpson vs the Space mutants and BattleToads, all games that came out in the 90s. But yeah, these guys were obviously snorting coke. I actually used to love watching this crap as a kid because I was just so mesmerized by games at the time. Videogames were in their golden age then and we enjoyed whatever we could get, even if it was crap. Now games are so common and broadcasted.
