  • phil you're great.

  • Your the best Phil!!!!!!!

  • I've been looking for a video like this for my entire stoner life man.

  • Poor brick :( ...

  • I think the lesson we can all learn from this video is that; if we're feeling suicidal, it's totally alright to kill a middle-eastern street vendor to help us regain our lust for life.

  • that kid looks life elf, with his smiling.

  • sooo he just goes to jail for manslaughter?

  • Such an amazing music video. I love how it just shows so many things about the world.

  • Radiohead is a collection of genius

  • @XvrAntoine why did u steal my idea from my head?

  • the ice-cream at the end made me giggle

  • Seems like isnt just Little Thom who gots talent :D

  • @Fafafeelings Your pathetic... Thom is nothing without the rest of Radiohead

  • very sad MV!

  • why didn't the child look completely traumatized?

  • With a nice rope like that he could hang himself instead ^^

  • 9 sorveteiros não gostam do vídeo, certo?

  • first of all, it's not a brick it's a cinderblock

  • i'm sorry, but the "poor brick" andd "poor ice cream" jokes got really old. please shut the hell up. :)

  • És ez most vicces? Szerintem nem. A dal nem rossz, kissé átlagos, de kellemes, viszont a videó egy idióta agyszüleménye.

  • poor ice cream ball.

  • my poor little brick i hope it's not broken^.^

how the fuck did he get my brick????

  • FREE ICE CREAM!!!

  • mmmm...jesus! in this band is just pure genius...plaudits

  • GREAT video. GREAT song.:)

  • what a douchebag

  • happy birthday Phil!

  • poor brick? poor ice cream!!

  • WTF

  • sad but very beautiful . :)

  • why is that kid smiling?

  • @chopperdave13 i was about to put the same comment , but u got me first :)

PS : i was gonna add "fuck" to it , why the fuck is that kid smiling :D

  • @401Extreme that kid isn't smiling in the sense of being happy, he is stunned and cannot believe what just happened.

  • @chopperdave13

not only the boy, but the people who walk by him and take pictures instead of doing anything.

  • Comment removed

  • @chopperdave13 violent video games!

  • @chopperdave13 Because he thinks steal another ice cream.

  • @chopperdave13 cuz hes all like free ice cream cart bitchzzz :D

  • Is phil singing?

  • @StvMusicOfficial Yeah. I know him personally as a friend and have sat and played on the drums with him playing the guitar and singing this song, is quite an experience.

  • @Bradzzzz2k8

    That's cool

  • a man dies, what miracle are you talking about ???

  • 1. Turn on the 1911 feature

    2. ???

    3. PROFIT!

  • looks like when the just video was filmed

  • wtf the drummer of radiohead is singing wooow

  • Wasn't that chick in the Human League? ;)

  • amazing stuff

  • messed up video but good song

  • Thank you very much Mr.Selway.

  • MAN, that ALWAYS happens to my ice cream,

  • how is phil so awesome i don't even

  • 2:31 the guy walked by took a photo WTF...

  • poor icecreammer

  • Firstly its a god damn MTV stop hating on that kid -.-

  • Did the brick died?

  • Wow. What a disturbing ending...

  • Can anyone explain to me what this song/video is about?

  • @vivalasagne9 about a miracle? xD

IF the brick hadn't landed on the ice cream man's head, the suicidal guy would have die.

  • @vivalasagne9 So i think that the person in the song has done something wrong that would have hurt someones feelings if they ever found out. The person is aware of this, and the thought of it haunts him. "Kick it but it wont go away. In the video there is a man who tries to kill himself, but end up killing(hurting) someone innocent. So even though this person would love to get this thing" of his chest, he will end up hurting someone who didn't do anything wrong. "Put it back where you found it"

  • he is smiling cause of the irony of the cart pushing salesman, and the guy tried killing himself its dark humor but in a way i makes sense that suicide hurts more than the person dieing .

  • Why is that bastard little kid smiling?

  • I'm wondering if there's something wrong with me, Cos I had been laughing a lot after the video ended

  • @volcanik14

    me too

  • Jeez, I know it's just a video, but that kid is a little bastard! Fantastic song though!

  • this is my new favorite song/video!!!(:

  • Philip by me on soundcloud . com / felipe-continentino

  • Philip by on soundcloud . com / felipe-continentino

  • Great work, Phil.

  • Who's that guy in the film??! He has a badass younger leonardo dicaprio/Johnny depp look to him.

  • @AIESECXchange I was thinking exactly the same thing.

  • troppo bella!! PIETRO RUIU

  • ok , miracle for someone but not for the other ^^!

  • Pure perfection! Love it. Btw: Is that Ana Matronic?

  • The kid that was smiling is a little bastard. He must have a heart as cold as ice(cream).

  • this is so sick

  • the more often i click repeat, the sadder i get

  • who else here got this song free at starbucks?

  • @pkaurastorm haha i did! but i really liked it!

  • Would you still be so suicidal if you knew that, to everybody else, you were just a different kind of murderer?

  • omg is the ice cream ok?! D:

  • The miscalculation thing I get,but 'sup with the kid smiling at the (presumably) dead guy?

  • i wachted this video like a 100 times. it's sooo great. i love every second of it. not only because of the song, which is so beautyful, but also because of the wonderful and detailed pictures...it's just perfect!! well, now i'm gonna watch it another 1000 times...

  • Your actions have consequences on other people, even when you think you're just making it so you can't hurt anyone anymore.

  • This is why we need to measure rope more carefully and make better calculations.

  • reminds me of lucky

  • This song is just hauntingly beautiful! A great music piece of Philip :) I've heard it ceaseless.

    lol good comment kid'o ^.^

  • Is the brick ok?

  • yeah... he had to learn something from radiohead

  • what does that cinder block say?

  • baaad, bad kid!

  • I hope the morality isn't meant to be something ughhh like "suicide only hurts other people" or something like that. I'm not sure, maybe i should think harder on it.

  • yeah that's right, why had to die the ice seller and the kid smile??

  • seemed to have used too much rope there lad.

  • @skinnydipper16 yeah, with the money for all thar rope, maybe he could buy a gun

  • i love phil's solo work. wasn't too sure how it would be.

  • I like the song, and I like the album., but I don't like this video at all.

  • poor justin bieber, he just wanted to buy himself an icecream :((

  • @UncleFido lol

  • Great. Familial is Wonderfull, I Hope Phil will released others albums in the future. thank you for this wonderful

  • Guess he won't be dying today. The guy with the brick I mean; not the ice cream guy...

  • i really love it and both the song and the video, great job Phil

  • Radiohead is an annoying band. Every damn member of it is so talented it should be impossible. It's hard not to love them though. And what a great song and a video!

  • this is a cool song i like it very much, phil is a great musician!!

  • Phil Sellway's solo is better than Thom Yorke's solo. Damn.

  • @WirelessShuffle really? i guess it's totally subjective, but NO WAY is this better than Harrowdown Hill / Analyse / The Eraser / Cymbal Rush etc. i do like it tho...

  • @WirelessShuffle uh oh

  • love it

  • Amazing!

  • Poor ice cream seller +1

this video(and the song of coz) is badly awesome and crazily sad...

  • Great video

  • wow ... this song is amazing..

  • Awesome album!!!Love it!

  • Amazing song philip, I have your album. Its really good! I love it! keep it those songs coming. I'll be anticipating your next release

  • @AuthorDPolitik haha, you sound like you know him

  • @MrBubbaloo If you can take in an artists work, you're a frenger; not quite a friend but not quite a stranger. His music strikes something deep in me, if I met him in person I'd treat him like I've known him for some time.

  • Phil's mind seems like a very interesting place. I love the mood of the video.

  • It's funny yet sad in the end. God damn irony!

  • 4 Ice Cream seller watched that video.

  • Saw the end coming. But I'm really disturbed that that kid is smiling at the end. You'd think someone would be a bit more freaked out.

  • @chopperdave13 listen to the lyrics of the song .. then you now what's the song about. That boy is the man on the roof ...

  • @chopperdave13 hes that kid from the omen

  • i scream

    you scream

    we all scream

    for ice-cream

  • Crap, I felt bad for the ice cream guy.

    But the song is awesome.

  • way better than anything Radiohead has put out since they gave up on Pop Music..

  • @fperdomo Wow I STRONGLY disagree, 15 Step alone is a work of pure genius. No disrespect to Selway but Radiohead is just... you can't beat it dude. They create a light at the end of this depressing tunnel that is today's music.

  • Comment removed

  • @fperdomo you cant be serious dude...

  • @mxl812 im a songwriter first and a fan of pop hooks that are quirky... my big issue with radiohead is that starting with Kid A.. they threw normal song structures out the door and started making avant garde artsy shit ... heres the deal... do you really think that anything on Kid A, Amnesiac, or Hail to the Thief works with just thom on acoustic guitar the way everthing on the bends and ok computer works.. seriously..

Radiohead became modern art after kid A.. and i personally find it lame.

  • @Forwardmotionrecords

Kid A is last decade's most critically acclaimed album.

  • @Forwardmotionrecords dude im talking about the lyrics

  • It's a fantastic album too.

  • After watching the entire video clip, I can tell the feeling it transmits.

    - Irresponsibility in every single form of it.

  • really nice song

  • I always thought Selway was a great drummer, and it's so good to discover he moves so well "out of his normal league"... it's like a football champion who tries his hand at tennis and... he works his way to the finals of Wimbledon! (and I really don't care how it ends, who "wins" or "loses"... here the metaphor ends, this is no championship, I only know he does his art wonderfully).

GREAT! I WILL buy this album, that's for sure.

  • The "lead actor" is Michael Born who has been working very hard at getting into film acting. Hopefully this will help his career.

  • It reminds me a little of Elliott Smith or Wiretree, or one of my friends who makes music.

So... Philip was the drummer yea, but he has a pretty nice voice, which I just hadn't considered up to this point!

  • @ the ending:

    .........WHATTT?!

the video didn't have much of a plot, yeah, but it was so beautifully shot that I enjoyed every second of it.

  • water in the floor ¿? 1:08 2:35

  • Comment removed

  • WOW.

  • actually I think the video could be better, it's predictable... but the song is more than beautiful

  • Not sure if the underlying racial/religious undertone is intentional - I hope not; but given the sensitivity of these times I would like to know if the "I just got away with it" is a metaphor for the US destruction of Iraq and Afghanistan and the survival of American hegemony. Too easy to produce something with heavyweight overtones without understanding the impact of such images...

    Answers please, David Altobelli...

  • @stephenacworth Interesting interpretation but sometimes it's easy to read too much into many things.
