I've heard of guys tipping a dump over from raising the boom too high too fast, but I've never seen one make it to the highway and loose it on an over-pass. Seriously, what a tool. Not only would he been able to see it through one of his side mirrors (not all lorries have rear windows especially sleepers) and it also has a drastic effect on the way the truck handles at speed (imagin a car with a spoiler giving downforce... it has a similer effect except it would make the handling twitchy).
It is more likely that the hydraulics where shot and the tipper was stuck... but the driver never thought of this when he saw the bridge

Most people that say the driver is an idiot, probably dont know shit about end dumps or bellydumps, we own over 20 of them, so i know what im talking about, this is not the drivers fault, sometimes there is a leak in the valve, so even though you put you cab down, it starts going up very very slowly once you reach higher revolutions on the road, so the it would have been kind of hard for the driver to realize it, the real idiots here are the people filming this, luckly no one got killed
