Hi. Do you just plug the timer remote into the camera? Did you get it off ebay? I don't see any listed for the EPL-1 but I see a couple for the EP2 and EP1. I really like the EP1- the price has come down and it's affordable but it's missing one thing that I love, the Diorama filter. If it had that I think it would be my next camera. Unfortunately the EP2 is too expensive for me.
@ar4216 Yes its from ebay, I believe that any of the ones that say "for ep1-2" would work for the epl1. They plug into the usb so it should be universal. Its a great remote does more then just time lapse, its programable and has a nice LED display. The EP-2 is a great camera. I highly recommend it. Have you thought about getting it used? I'm actually selling mine (cant afford to keep it anymore). If you are interested, message me your email. I'll give you a good price, & throw in lots of stuff!
@domke803 I hate the kit lenses that come with the E-P2, but I love my Lumix 20mm! Totally worth the money! I use a lot of my old manual nikon and Voigtlander lens with my e-p2, its the main reason I got it. If you have a lot of old glass, your gonna have a blast with this camera!
@magnifik161 No, unfortunately the E-P2 doesnt have built in time-lapse in it's firmware. I used a remote timer to automatically take a shot every 5 seconds.
