try takeing off (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-adware, etc.) and see if that works

This error means some security program is blocking it like (firewall, anti-virus, anti-spyware, anti-adware, etc.) take them off when ur done playing put them back on have a nice day :D

I can connect to Wii Shop Channel and download there games, but when I want to play wifi-games i can't connect. (Error-Code:51040)

see if this helps

1- your wii must be about 5 feet or 10away

2-maybe your firewall or anti virus is etc is blocking it turn them off and when ur done turn them back on

3-did you follow the steps

4-you must not use internet on the computer like searching and downloading etc if ur useing the wifi usb

5-make sure ur internet is not being shared like a friend useing your internet/wifi

please help me. my ds lite connects to the wifi usb adapter and then says set-up complete,and then during the test it goes to full green bars and after about 10 seconds of testing it goes down to zero bars and fails

if your going to buy a usb wifi for the wii buy it from amazon thats what i did

I wish I could try this out but I can't find my damn connector anywhere ... might have been lost when I moved to my new flat D: but well, I don't even use the windows firewall ... I use the Comodo firewall. D: (This thing alerts you every time something happens ... annoying as hell but at least you have full control over the things that are going on)

you sound like you dont understand what i say i say when you done play with the wifi put back on your firewall every one know if u have on your firewall when you useing Wifi USB it will block the game read before posting
