  • Those boys over at Titan keep doing a better and better job at getting the lines/looks of the real P-51, especially since they ditched the pop rivets.

    Engine still sounds awful (IMO) but you've got to give credit for ANY pilot sticking with their goal of getting airborne.

  • @Twister051 They haven't ditched the pop rivets, they are still standard. Solid rivets are builder discretion. This particular T-51 (sn #70) had very extensive metal work done (english wheel, shrinker, etc.) to get those lines. #70 also has a Rotax motor, where most are going with the Honda V6 option that is pushing 300hp now. You are correct in that Titan has done a lot since #70 ( I just ordered kit #175) to make the T-51 even more scale.
