This certainly is an interesting take on the song. I'm a huge fan of R.E.M, and this does a solid homage to the band - and to Clift.

I particularly enjoy the vocal effects, making the singer appear 'distant' and slightly echo-y. The keyboards are really eerie, but it's still great.

What do you use for all the bass in the song?

It sounds good with it. The song sounds allot better when it rattles things off the wall. LOL
