WWF was PG in the early 90's (until the Attitude Era) and it was one of the worst periods of wrestling in terms of sales/ratings/etc. and WCW was TV-14 and that is why it was winning that war for so long, and it wasn't until WWF went TV-14 that they started to beat WCW in terms of ratings/etc.

Also, people need to learn that Russo/Bischoff/Hogan were not the ones who put WCW into the ground, it was Turner/TNT, who didn't want TV-14 WCW on their channel, and such.
