There is a very informative book called "The Black Girl Curse" that covers this exact subject. To answer some of the questions of the woman at the beginning of the video, some of hte MAIN reasons why saved men don't go to church is a) the feminization of Jesus Crhist and b) the feminization of worship and c) the churches don't stand for anything.
A.... Simply contrast the imagery of Mohammed vs. that of Jesus (based on their portrayals in society). Immediately one visualizes Mohammed as a CONQUERER, a victorious prophet- one who does not vascillate between thoughts and beliefs and has a SINGLE purpose of converting souls either by persuasion or by the sword. Mohammed is MASCULINE.
Christ, on the other hand, is portrayed as an effeminate, passive, HIPPIE who stands for nothing except "can't we all just get along??".
B... The way Christ is portrayed in society is NOT one that ANY sane, masculine man would EVER want to follow. the qualities of Jesus that appeal to women are emphasized and those that appeal to men are de-emphasized.
Christ was a MAN... a MASCULINE MAN... as a matter of fact, he was the EPITOME of MASCULINITY. Read through the gospels... Christ had a SINGULAR mission and NO ONE was going to stop him... he spoke with AUTHORITY... he REBUKED the religious leaders who were.....
C... who were the people astray... he had the COURAGE to kick out those people who were PIMPING the House of God and Hypocrite religious leaders were afraid of him... hte people were in AWE in the fact that he spoke with such authority... and he wrestled with the devil for 40 days and DEFEATED the Prince of this World by exercising SELF-CONTROL while Satan was trying to tempt him.... he had DEEP concern for those who the weakest and least desired of society....
D... Christ had a singular purpose to minister to those who were spiritually depressed, to give hope to those who were lost, to provide salvation to those who were trapped in sin, to break up the works of the Devil in this world and he was willing to DIE for his beliefs
Now, if Jesus Christ was presented in this manner... a MASCULINE Savior with character traits that all men desire to inculcate within their lives... I promise you, it would be the GREATEST REVIVAL of men in the church ever.
But instead, Christ is portrayed as WEAKLING... When men become Christians they are to become life-long followers of Christ... but MEN do NOT ever follow WEAK LEADERS. So ALL of Christ's traits must be portrayed as shown in the Bible.
Another problem is how emotional and feminine the worship services are.... all the hand-holding, all the women crying in service, and all these pastors preaching in such a manner to arouse in the audience outbursts of emotional excitement... NOT APPEALING.
Add to that the fact that these pastors are NOT preaching from the Bible. Listening to some of these pastors you would think that Dr. Phil was preaching with all the self-help, mushy sermons. The pastors should be feeding people spiritually with DEEP, and iN DEPTH studies of the Bible, providing practical applications that the people can incorporate in their Christian walk. The PURPOSE of sermons should be that of bringing people to REPENTANCE for their sins and bringing them to God.
The SALVATION of SOULS ought to be PARAMOUNT and should stand ABOVE being liked by the churchmembers. That means NEVER compromising on Bible principles in order to increase church membership... it means calling a sin SIN, even if it hurts the ears of a guilty party knowing that doing so is an ACT OF LOVE on the part of the pastor... for how does it help the church-member if he is living in sin and is NEVER made to look in the mirror, see their sinful ways, and then REPENT and CHANGE???
F... it doesn't help that person.... that church-member goes home after each service EXCITED about how "great" the sermon was and they FEEL great, but their souls are DESTROYED because they NEVER learned to conform their lives according the Christ example??? To borrow from Jesus "What does it profit a man (woman) to hear a great sermon but to lose their souls?" It doesn't.
The Salvation of souls should be the FOCUS of worship services and be done in a way that doesn't turn men off.
And this leads to the third reason why men aren't in the church... the church has NO PURPOSE... it is nothing more than a big social club for people to go to in order to see their friends, to eat fish fries, to gossip about members in the church, to show off one's singling talents, and to do something so as to not be bored.
The church has LOST it's MISSION of saving lives through the preaching of the gospel to spiritually depressed souls out in the world, and bringing them to God.
Men love to have a purpose and goals to achieve... and part of a Christian's purpose is to try to reach others and help them recognize their need for Christ and God.
It isn't that hard to bring men in the church... men who are SERIOUS about being Christians will attend worship services regardless of how feminine church is... but to try to witness to other men out in the world and to bring them to God, the church NEEDS to recognize that they are failing.

There is a very informative book called "The Black Girl Curse" that covers this exact subject. C... who were the people astray... he had the COURAGE to kick out those people who were PIMPING the House of God and Hypocrite religious leaders were afraid of him... hte people were in AWE in the fact that he spoke with such authority... and he wrestled with the devil for 40 days and DEFEATED the Prince of this World by exercising SELF-CONTROL while Satan was trying to tempt him.... he had DEEP concern for those who the weakest and least desired of society....

D... Christ had a singular purpose to minister to those who were spiritually depressed, to give hope to those who were lost, to provide salvation to those who were trapped in sin, to break up the works of the Devil in this world and he was willing to DIE for his beliefs
Now, if Jesus Christ was presented in this manner... a MASCULINE Savior with character traits that all men desire to inculcate within their lives... I promise you, it would be the GREATEST REVIVAL of men in the church ever.

But instead, Christ is portrayed as WEAKLING... When men become Christians they are to become life-long followers of Christ... but MEN do NOT ever follow WEAK LEADERS. So ALL of Christ's traits must be portrayed as shown in the Bible.
Another problem is how emotional and feminine the worship services are.... all the hand-holding, all the women crying in service, and all these pastors preaching in such a manner to arouse in the audience outbursts of emotional excitement... NOT APPEALING.

Add to that the fact that these pastors are NOT preaching from the Bible. Listening to some of these pastors you would think that Dr. Phil was preaching with all the self-help, mushy sermons. The pastors should be feeding people spiritually with DEEP, and iN DEPTH studies of the Bible, providing practical applications that the people can incorporate in their Christian walk. The PURPOSE of sermons should be that of bringing people to REPENTANCE for their sins and bringing them to God.

The SALVATION of SOULS ought to be PARAMOUNT and should stand ABOVE being liked by the churchmembers. That means NEVER compromising on Bible principles in order to increase church membership... it means calling a sin SIN, even if it hurts the ears of a guilty party knowing that doing so is an ACT OF LOVE on the part of the pastor... for how does it help the church-member if he is living in sin and is NEVER made to look in the mirror, see their sinful ways, and then REPENT and CHANGE???

F... it doesn't help that person.... that church-member goes home after each service EXCITED about how "great" the sermon was and they FEEL great, but their souls are DESTROYED because they NEVER learned to conform their lives according the Christ example??? To borrow from Jesus "What does it profit a man (woman) to hear a great sermon but to lose their souls?" It doesn't.
The Salvation of souls should be the FOCUS of worship services and be done in a way that doesn't turn men off.

And this leads to the third reason why men aren't in the church... the church has NO PURPOSE... it is nothing more than a big social club for people to go to in order to see their friends, to eat fish fries, to gossip about members in the church, to show off one's singling talents, and to do something so as to not be bored.
The church has LOST it's MISSION of saving lives through the preaching of the gospel to spiritually depressed souls out in the world, and bringing them to God.

Men love to have a purpose and goals to achieve... and part of a Christian's purpose is to try to reach others and help them recognize their need for Christ and God.
It isn't that hard to bring men in the church... men who are SERIOUS about being Christians will attend worship services regardless of how feminine church is... but to try to witness to other men out in the world and to bring them to God, the church NEEDS to recognize that they are failing.

Most people spend a lifetime in church without ever doing something with what they have learned,.. but condemn!

Changing the name will allow more so-called "Black" women be open to watch your video especially part 3. If your intent to educate our people, both genders must be reached to rectify the effects of slavery on our community.
