  • Hey are those 72 hour food bars any good

  • @reaver414 Walmart, cabelas, bass pro-shop..., or pretty much any outdoors store..jus watchout for prices n quality. Internets good for it too.

  • @ToddIngram1000 Im there with you on that one haha,, never was much on Obongo

  • lol, my dad used to bring home Rations when he was in the RAAF if only i had saved them instead of eating them :/

  • Where can i go to get most of this stuff??

please thumb up so he can see

  • DAMN IT , why was i not born in America ... i LOVE guns ...never give up your guns americans !! NEVER !!!!

  • @MadCatzHotel

    we wont!

  • @RandomMan1988 are you sure ? i saw on tv your ocupation government wants to take your weapons , and i saw a protest ...and it was made of 100 people top .... so wtf America ? I know there's some people in the south that will shoot dead every mother fucking agent, police or whoever dares to try and take their weapons ...but the rest of America ...i'm not so sure ...except for gangs ...how do they plan to take guns away from gangs ? :))

  • @MadCatzHotel They can't. And if someone wants a weapon they can just buy one in Some other state and smuggle it back. The police are just taking away the weapons from the good guys protecting themselves against the bag guys. If Obama becomes President again I'm fleeing to Torono Canada.

  • kinda look like a vampire in this vid

  • @s556762 Thats good!

  • trust me mate america is not the only country that is going to the shit... at least you guys can defend your selfs with guns lol in australia gun law are bloody tuff

  • Thanks bro for entering...

  • Thank you bro... Your videos are awesome... Anyone who speaks negatively should just turn on the news... Look people it can't hurt to be prepared... And this guy is helping to do that... for free... thanx again Ryan

  • Oh shit kit

  • Step 1: Don't be a fat cunt!

  • @IntertubeTr0ll unless you want to carry your emergency rations with you 24/7 :)

  • everyone should check out a good long video called "naked into the wilderness" survival experts tell you how you can walk into the wilderness literally with nothin and survive, make tools, find cordage, make shelters, set up traps, etc etc. dont reply 100% on your BOB becus in a mad max sthf world you might get mugged by a gang of thugs and lose all your shit, or police or military can confiscate your shit. Never think your are too armed and are immortal. learn all aspects of survival.

  • You may need to adjust the the order of the 3 priorities if you have a women like mine. She becomes Satan when she gets hungry, so for me food is #1. Good stuff Ryan.

  • I'm pretty sure there's going to be some sort of economical breakdown within the next year.

seeing as how Russia, AND China have denounced the U.S. dollar as the main stored currency in their banks.

  • Good review here, I would like to say I believe you emphasize "you can survive 3 weeks without food" way too much.Sure you can survive that long but after 3 or 4 days without eating, you become weak, tired, and your ability to think becomes clouded. And reduces your chances for survival. You do have to refuel your body, I'm not trying to down you here this is a good review just give my thoughts.

  • excellent vidio thanks for the info and stay safe respect from the uk

  • A dog is a neoanthales

A dog is a cavemans best friend! yours too!!

  • you can always eat the dogs!!! just kidding if you under stand the dogs reactions they could save you or find game!

  • thanks for the vids bro

  • I was wondering where i can get a good bug bag?

  • @drewzimmm military alice pack...large with frame about 30 bucks shipped on ebay

  • Hey man, could you possibly send me a link on where to find that durable emergency blanket? I can't seem to find them anywhere

  • You forgot the booze! BOOOOOZZEEE!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • how long does dog last

  • Your pack is well thought out. Thanks for the pointers but I wonder about the elephant in the room. Your dogs. Would your loyal friends not be the most helpful survival bug out "tools" you have? What are their names and cheers 2 u!

  • i try to tell my wife we need to prepared, for us and our children. it's like speaking to a brick wall. she seems to think that nothing will ever happen.

  • @devildroid667 I can relate brother....

  • @devildroid667 Man, I know exactly what you mean. They think nothing will ever happen, or things are so "unlikely" to happen. Me - I'm like what about Katrina? Her - "We don't have hurricanes here..." Me - What about the ice storm that knocked out power lines and left us without power for a week? Her - Well, we have generators and things for that now? Women....

  • mad

  • 7 people obviously don't know a good Bug Out Bag when they see one

  • im 14 (yes i know young) but im extreamly into survival and the outdoor world type of thing. but just a suggestion if martial law or nwo occered wouldent u not want to have a gps (again not being negative) just puttin it out there cause cant the government track gps and electical devices? and the way the econemy has bin going i dont really think the government is looking out for you they more want control over you

  • thoseare awsome dogs bro, kool video set. thx for sharing

  • Comment removed

  • Your BEST bet is when the SHTF for a meal always eat something that can be mixed with COLD water, and never pack DRY food because that will only make you thirsty and drain your water faster than you normally would

  • "EXspecially?" "Impor-ant?" Where the hell did you learn to pronounce English words? I couldn't get through the whole video because I couldn't stand to listen to you speak. Obviously a graduate of public education. Too bad...the video looks to have some good info.

  • @fightingbuddyboy WOW you are an asshole behind your $2000+ computer, arent you! Who cares if he graduated in public school, But if SHTF he will be alive and you, umm, will NOT. Get a life pff

  • is the lighting bad or do you have a really black eye nice vid though

  • Great videos man. I live in Scotland and I have a couple of packs, but everywhere I go I take at least a firesteel and swiss army knife or leatherman multitool. In the end some preparation is better than none. Don't forget to pack knowledge and improvisation. Cheers ryanjcus.

  • i got the same sweater =P

  • make a video on nuclear papardness

  • Good video ryanjcus, thanks for posting it for us.

  • things just got bad

  • What do you think of FEMA / RED Cross information and their Bail Out Bag kit that sells which includes all the basic needs to last 72 hours ? Perhaps you can buy this $35 with everything in it, and modify them from there IF needed... ?

  • Great dogs; is that a Ridgeback. Makes me miss mine.

  • the british government is a shambles them mp's robbin our. money kill the fools

    u bastard

  • Your videos were 1st I watched & purchased all items accordingly.Thanks. I own 2male Rotties so I have a 2 yr. supply of food packed for short& long term. Dont forget Frontline for either bug in/out. Very important! Ticks can be deadly!

Don't forget the Booze! Mandatory in stressfu times for comfort & medicinal uses. I also stash the small "airplane" or single shot bottles.Yes a bit pricey but will be useful for bartering.

  • alchohol is not nessesary, last thing you want to be doing in a survival situation is one messing up your logical thinking and making your self more thirsty, not to mention going pee every five seconds is great for anyone trying to track you

  • daiaonu- true but I didn't recommend drunkeness. And I personally dont have to pee every five seconds after a drink.

  • idk i wouldnt bother with it but i guess each person has thier own style

  • daiaonu- ur right about booze while bugging out. And, I was actually thinking of buggin in situation when I recommended it. As a female I appreciate the tip & hope I don't have to bug out as I will surely perish. Have a well stocked bag anyway and so does my other half.

  • being ready for anything is always a good plan tho and if you do have someone to plan with your better off you can carry more gear and share the work load

  • daiaonu-Thnks. I try to think of things and watch these videos & read tips. I shop accordingly along w/hubby's list. Thats the least I can do to contribute as a team. I have camping exp. but thats about it. Never shot a gun in my life nor have I ever taken a fish off a hook. I can catch them tho. lol See why its better for me to bug in? These days I am so afraid of whats to come so I go to the sporting good store & buy ammo. I just ask how much more do we need! lol

  • idk bout drinking, but for some cuts, vodka, whiskey. very good. and definately for bartering

  • Agreed! Thanks!

  • great videos, im watching these to get some idea of my BOB. i dont have too much experience. but, im pretty good at surviving and using weapons. but im 14

  • @ryanjcus Hello, I just wanted to know if you should have a bug-out vehicle as well as a bug-out bag? and if you have one. Also have you made a video or will make a video in the future for a "bug-out vehicle"? Thank You for the video : D

  • @P8NTBALLER987 great point i carry ever clear because i can use it for cleaning wounds and also makes great fire fuel at least for when i run out of vaseline soaked cotton and my other tinders

  • nice video man, let me ask you something if you had to go out into the woods for 72 hours what would you take for food mre or mountain house

  • mre

  • in a non gay way I am in love with your videos, i love um!

  • Wanna learn how to survive. Get the free board game BUGOUT! survival, at printgame dat com

  • stop bitching about the light

  • when you are going through your food, you say mashed potatoes with bacon, right...what brand is that and are there any other flavors

  • Try uploading your own video or contributing anything before criticizing videos that are free to you, you spoiled ungrateful bastard.

  • @ryanjcus Granted, TPPATRIOT could have put in in a much less adolescent way, but the point remains. I like your videos man, and think they're generally very informative, but would be more so if the items were more clearly visible. I notice you have a clamp light, or some type of directional lighting to your left there. Try putting it behind your camera, possibly also using a make shift light reflector of some sort would help too. Not a criticisation bud, just a suggestion. Keep up the good work

  • @ryanjcus

He was just giving advice.... jeez.

  • @TPPATRIOT we can see either that or you're blind stop trolling bitch

  • @TPPATRIOT try sucking a cock

  • while I don't think a government colapse would happen (besides if your concerned you can make change now so it won't happen like helping competent people get elected), but in a storm prone area like tornado alley or hurricane area's this seems like a good system for an emergency kit.

  • Yeah, the Rule of 3's: 3 minutes w/o air, 3 hours w/o warmth, 3 days w/o water, & 3 weeks w/o food.

Preferably, the food you take should be pantry based (non-refrigerated & non-frozen) foods that DO NOT require rehydration & that ideally has a minimum 1 year shelf life. I know that's a tall order, but since the idea of the bug out bag is short-term evacuation, bringing mess kits & stoves is quite frankly ridiculous.

  • Just been reading comments. You are all psosio`s

  • if ya can concel it

  • Those are nice lookin' dogs.

  • Thanks for doing this... This is a great video

  • Thanks for posting - perhaps I'll finally put one together, although the way me and my friends have lived over the years we're generally so prepared that I'll worst problem would be deciding when to leave, not what to take ;)

  • 9mm & 2 full spare clips,......all u need!!...the gun will get ya the rest.remember folks,...weight is the enemy of speed,& all this shit will do is slow ya down.if it comes down 2 running 4 ur lift,...i wana b as light as possible....

  • If it wasn't for shit bricks like you there wouldn't be any need to bring a gun in the event of natural disaster.

Durp durp look at me I'll just stick up the members of my own community.

  • How about four spare clips?

  • your 9 mm with 2 clips will melt if you run into me

  • ?.....melt?

  • huh? 0.o

  • For light weight food you can't go wrong with having some Asian noodles in your pack. If your going to be on the move in an urban environment get yourself some bump keys (do a google search). Remember if you can smell your food others will be able to as well. You will want to blend in so a military pack may not be in your best interest. Don't put all your eggs in one basket in case you have to drop it and run so have a belt pouch with only the most important elements to survive as backup

  • nice video and dogs

    5/5

  • I really like these videos and how this man empowers all of us to put the power of our own survival in our own hands. Thank you for that!

  • Good job

  • Good video.

  • Water being the number one on my list of must have items.

    (1) Water bottels on a belt

Note in each bottel there should be a filter system which will keep the water safe to drink.

    (2) Survival straws to drink water on the move, once agian the filter system.

    (3) Fold up water containers,

with plastic to catch the rain water and store it for use latter.

Note only drink Fresh water, you can drink most kinds of fresh water if you have water filters in your water bottels and straws!

  • or you could take puri tabs with you, which will make even puddle water safe to drink, if a little chemical tasting.

  • it is best to buy a good, filter system that can filter large amounts of water. and buy extra filters, this will allow you to stay away and in the bug out area longer

  • Just wated to say thanks for sending out this video on the 72 hr pack.

Water Pura tablets are also in my pack, the same used by UK services.

Stay at home water systems should also be investegated,I am now installing two 350 gallon tanks in my small back garden.

    Thanks again.

  • you should have a 2 year supply of food and water on hand . that will be about the length of time the us govt. would recover from a severe govt collapse of everything

  • i seen that you had a GPS in your kit. I hope you know if anything happened bad where it causes a world wide problem, your gps wont help you at all!

  • If that happend I'd drop it. In most scenerious it's likley it would help.

"It's better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it"

  • amen

  • As with the case of having a bug out bag, that is my favorite quote

  • @ryanjcus actually GPS would work fine because the signal transmitted by 8 Department of Defense satellite so the device is passively receiving transmission. Unless we have extreme solar storm when that happened.

  • @ryanjcus

GPS are automated and satellite based. they would most likely not be affected too much by most problems on the ground.

  • @ryanjcus

    just like a condom lol

  • @Cr3ater anything electronic, cellphones-gps-ipods-etc. all can be used to create fires. there is no such thing as a useless appliance.

  • @Cr3ater actualy the gps isnt a bad idea.. if you have a way to recharge it, (i have several small 'hand crank' radios that can also recharge any thing you attach to them.) even if the gps satelites go down you can still use most gps's as 'maps'.. even if they cant 'locate' you, you could still find a road or other landmark, and judge where you are, like a map.. + mine holds music and vids, which is unneccesary, but in a bug out situation it could be a good morale booster.. just food 4 thought

  • @GeorgeNada1 Never though about the music thing. Good idea! "no sarcasm" :) Im going to buy one too and maybe upload some kids stuff to it. :)

  • @Cr3ater He said so clearly. Im not even english speaking really. He said that there can be different situtations to bug out... Take care ryancjus god bless your family.

  • Remember you can keep things in the car and come back if you have to make this more permanent.

-religious Text if it is your thing (possibly even if it isn't)

    -Tarp - Plastic and canvas

-HIGH powered pellet / BB gun (small game) PUMP powered, not CO2!!

  • -Ace bandage

-Make your own gatorade (drink mix + .9% salt) That means for every 1L of water you add 9 grams of salt, so there is a .9% (not even 1%) salt. This is the same salinity as your body.

-Change out shoe laces with PARACHORD! Even on sneakers. Wrap the cord a few times around the ankle mid way up the boot for extra cord. Parachord will not rot or break as shoe laces will

-99% isopropyl alcohol (Heet - red bottle - in automotive dept's)

-xtra blankets (fleece from walmart $4-5 each)

  • Maps

Anything to which you are dependant/addicted (nicotine/caffiene/etc). You DO NOT want to be going through withdrawal during this period as depression, anxiety, fatigue, physical illness and possibly paranoia can set in

CASH (multiple currencies if possible: US, Canada, Mexico, Pound, Euro)

    Gold/Silver/Platinum ??

Seeds for gardening (What if you bug out and you CAN'T go back?)

Tool kit (keep in car and come back for it if bug out is permanent)

    Machete

    toilet paper (doubles as pillow)

  • Good job on the videos but I feel you left out some VERY important things, mainly a water filter pump. Here is a list: Water filter pump iodine & chlorine/bleach Medications (anti-biotics, pain meds, prescription meds) Head lamp Scalpel & Razor Blades Small Mirror (signaling) Thin wire (snares) Trail mix (great calories) Multi-vitamin Methanol (Heet - yellow bottle - from automotive department for cooking fuel & sterilization) Booze (for moral :) Gas cans (filled) to extend range of driving
  • Make sure you add a 72 hr kit of Life caps. Just google them and go to there main site. Everyone should have Life Caps in their BOB. You can save 33 % if you use coupon code GoCaps at check out. Best wishes!

  • Coryswen13, why would anyone spend that much on a multivitamin? Seriously, go to Amazon. There, you can buy 425 Centrum multivitamins for $21.44. That's $0.05 a piece, or $0.15 per 72 hours. These LifeCaps work out to be $9.98 per 72 hours ($29.95/3 - 72 hr. packs)!!! The only reason I can think for you to advocate these is that you get a paycheck or a kickback from them.

  • "2 part mabye a thee part" lol no... it's a four parter. anyway thank you for the info

  • Getting picky you could single wrap that jerky if you have the ability to vacume seal , once you open the bag its exposed to the elements and on its way downhill so having it all in one bag aint great.

  • Always take a pack of fizzy cola bottles or something similar. A guy came to my school and did a talk about survival (he was mountain climbing, fell and broke both legs and hip) he managed to crawl out of the mountains and lived of 1 fizzy sweet a day.

  • love your shotgun. you ever trie a .22 pistol? kicks ass

  • I think a bug out bag is key to surviving also I think a safe place or planned destination is key. I have I place in the dessert outside sandiego where i have food and water stored its a rock shack that my family has used for 30 years. good vid thanx for posting

  • thanks man keep um comin 5 stars

  • Wow!!! i bet you'd be a ton a fun in the bush!!! sign me up.. lol!! Superhot to survive babe. thanx!!

  • i know i comment alot but you the s**t

  • Dude..nice videos...you have your own survival show going. Thanks for sharing, I am enjoying the videos. Love your dogs too. I'm working on my BOB and EDC. So much stuff we need!

  • you go!!!!!!!!!

  • You and everyone else. Not the best strategy, but it's better than not having a gun.

  • And be the first one killed asshole, good job!

  • for good rations i.e. mre's(meals ready to eat) google mre's and click on a military surplus store most places will sell them cheap and they last about 10 years

  • why not get a poncho in woodland or marpat?

  • i hope we never ever need to Survival !!! but if something happened ppl like us whoever learned about survival do really help ..good videos ......thanks

  • Funny you say that. When Katrina hit NO and I watched ppl stealing TVs with no place to go. I told my wife and Kids. I would of Hit a Sporting good store for Food an shealter and it would be like camping.

  • A good post mate. Ive watched all of them and agree that when the New World Order arrives as it is, we will have to be ready for it. The USA will have the Amero as its currency and merge with Canada and mexico. I have all of my kit on the ready like you have too. Full NBC kit aswell! In the UK people are different and are not as patriotic as you Americans but some of us are prepping our kit just incase something happens. Good work chap.

  • good for you man, no matter what, its always important to be prepared, even if the NWO dosnt come these kits are good for power outages, or even natural disasters.

  • lol!

    i am buging out man!

  • since you're concerned with how much weight you would carry in a bug out situation, would you even bother to carry the 5 gallon water containers, or would you have it collapsed and only se it when you get situated?

  • No I wouldn't ever have one of those in my BOB. 5 gallons of water is extremely heavy to carry any distance. If you are going to pack one to have a camp that is fine, but don't fill it. Thanks and be safe

  • What kind of backpack are you using is it a alice pack?

  • what are you going to do with your dogs if you have to bug out

  • Those bars you were talking about that have 1000 cal's arnt that bad. They taste like a cookie, But yes at first it taste like wax. -_-

I know I went camping up in the mountains with my dad and we ate those all the time!

  • Thanks for the input. Definatly a good source of calories.

  • ...am...so...am...am...so...am...so...

    fuck

  • WHAT???

  • Hi Ryan, I was hoping you could help me with a couple things.

    1. Where can I purchase MRE's?

    2. Where can I buy a cheap reliable knife and what brands do you recommend?

    3. What would you suggest for a rugged durable defense handgun?

  • You can order MREs online. Glock makes awesome handguns. Very durable, accurate, easy to use, and most importantly extremely reliable. I've never had a malfunction with mine. For an affordable knife look up the Frost Mora they are very popular in the wilderness survival community, and are inexpensive. Thanks.

  • Alright, thank you lots. Your videos are very helpful 5/5

  • how pounds is your bug out bag how long are you prepared to last ?

  • My pack is probably about 40lbs. I'm prepared to live indefinatly. With the right knowledge and skill you can live a very very long time with just a few key items. Thanks

  • I choose tarp and wool blanket for shelter.

  • where could i get military supplies like MRE online?

  • look on ebay

  • check out brigade quartermasters, they have so much stuff you wont believe it, from gas masks to clothing to food to bullet resistant vests, emergency gear, ect.

  • considering how things are going you should invest in getting a nbc suit and gas mask

  • Thank you. Very good advice. I have a review, and demo video of my gas mask. Thanks Again!

  • on the dry food or similar ot what you said after you mentioned the MRE What brand makes them and also where can I buy them?

  • You can buy them online, or at local military surplus stores. Try cheaperthandirt com . Sorry for the late reply. Thanks

  • f.y.i. a portable monolog battery operated TV will be obsolete in 2/08 unless it is a digital tv witch will be hard to find. That will put you back to a portable AM/fm radio

  • Yeah, it's just there until then. I don't get the new digital TV thing. They can't keep the old fashoned way too? There are so many applications where the old way is still useful. I'm prob gonna be getting a new radio. It's a small "Eaton" hand crank radio, f.light combo. I believe you may be able to charge stuff with it too. It has two Small solar pannels. Thanks Bro.

  • u forgot fishen!

  • You mean fishing. Watch all 4 parts and read the description. Thanks

  • if you had to guestimate how much would you think you have invested on all your gear? guns included. ive just started on collecting gear but i can tell it could easily add up pretty quick ,,thanks again for all your videos,,i think your really doing a great service with your uploads ,,,keep it up

  • I have ALOT of stuff, but it's all been collected over a decent amount of time. I would say 80% of the items are inexpensive(under $20). The other 20% can be costly. Most of the gear I buy is good, and you'll notice when I review items, I usually have mostly great things to say. My opionon is it is all worth the money. For a hobby, and self preservation. How much is your life worth? Just say that to yourself next time you need to justify an expensive peice of gear. It's a worhwhile lifestyle.

  • Guns are most expensive. Around $450 for a Glock. Thanks for all your nice comments and questions!! It's very much appreciated! :)

  • thanks for the great info and i'm huge outdoorsman. tru you never know whats going to happen and great video.

  • Wow! I had two dogs that looked identical to yours!! Great videos thanks! Survival Report

  • Really? Thats pretty cool. Thanks,Much appreciated!

  • awesome videos ryan!

  • Thanks Bro
